The only voices that would matter on this issue are NFL QBs like Brady and Rodgers..there aren't any prominent white stars in the NBA and baseball largely stays away from these topics..

Some white players have stepped up but certainly not many. It's not mandatory for them to do so but it is the best way to advance a social cause.

NBA players are different, it's a league where the players are much bigger than the teams.. s like Jordan and Kobe could have said anything without any backlash..
It needed to be said but he should have acknowledged the white athletes that have spoken up, and more importantly emphasized that actions speak louder than words regardless who pronounces them
