Jeff Stats must be frustrated or not happy w/ his job or something. He’s commonly underachieving.
If Lebron beats Boston in this series they will be more than willing to give up anything to get Kawhi.
Lol no.
You would have to question these guys “star” potential if they can’t beat Lebron’s worst team ever. CLE is only good because Bron is unreal but even with that they are a medicore team overall.
Kawhi couldn't lead SA past 'Bron in his sop re season, either, and he HAD all of the team pieces in place. No one was missing like they are for Boston.
This CLE team is not very good is the point. You shouldn’t have to be that talented to get by them. They aren’t great. They are good and Lebron is great but all year no matter how you look at it they are an average team.
The Cavs are garbage, but LeGOAT's mere presence can still cover a lot of flaws.
Danny Ainge will never be willing to give up any asset of value, ever, no matter what happens. He doesn't make trades unless he's fleecing the other team.
That's fine if he's not willing to budge I wouldn't do the deal but you never know what type of pressure he will feel from the fans and local media if the Celtics can't beat the worst Lebron lead Cav's team in more than 10 years.
You would be shocked but not even the greatest GMs always make the best moves especially under pressure when they are trying to win championships. I will never forget Jerry West making a series of bad moves during the '99 season in which he traded Van Exel to the nuggets for Tony Battie, and then getting fleeced by the Hornets by trading Eddie Jones and Elden Campbell for Glen Rice. Those moves pretty much cost the Lakers the le that year since they had owned the spurs prior to making those trades. Anyways my point is no GM is infallible and its only a matter of time before Ainge makes a bad move or two.
True. There is a very high chance (at least 80% imo) that neither Brown nor Tatum is ever as good as Kawhi is now.
They just laid off a bunch of express newspeeps, didn't check if it was sports but don't hold out hope for any improvement
Exactly, I really, really love both their upside but there is no guarantee that either will be as good 2016 - 2017 Kawhi Leonard. Especially with the playoff run he was having before his ankle injury.
I think if Leonard is 100% healthy, but doesn't want to stay a package that includes both Tatum - Brown, would be a win - win for both franchises (with or without another lottery pick thrown in).
Making San Antonio great again, tbh
There is no guarantee Leonard will ever be as good as his 2016-17 self either, unfortunately.
Fingers crossed and hoping for the best.
some dude zinged him hard
Wait now that I think about it, is it really a zing? Them plumbers make mad money from what I hear.
And the plumber's job will still be there in five years.
McDonald can only do so many puff pieces on the Spurs Coyote.
I don't know who is the worst "journalist" (and I use that le very loosely) here in SA, McDonald writing his useless stories or Jeanne Jakle writing that some guy with a cousin from San Antonio was on the Bachelorette or some failed CW TV show.
never cared to meet the beat writers but worked at the EN one summer. was pretty fun. brought girls up to the balcony. really good times.
Cool. That makes us all sauces!
