Why does that guy look like another guard?
Good news (though a lot probably already knew) is that he's a big.

Bad news is that he makes Anderson seem fleet of foot. Dude has some skills for a guy his size, but not really anything to get excited about unless he's a low-key beast defender.

Yay, more “pro basketball players” who can’t dribble or shoot. Let’s load up on those

The Mavericks did not want to surrender draft compensation in a potential trade with the Clippers for DeAndre Jordan and prefer instead to pursue him in free agency, league sources say

This guy looks like Jason Terry. I thought it was him for a second.
Me, too. But at least this guy is 7' tall. Summer League fodder.

Per source, the Bucks have extended a qualifying offer to Jabari Parker, making him a restricted free agent. As expected. Bucks also extended qualifying offers to two-way players Marshall Plumlee and Xavier Munford to make them restricted as well.

One other FA note: Former NBAer Anthony Randolph has interest from "several" NBA teams, according to sources. He was excellent for Real Madrid last year, had a bit of a rough ending this year. He's under contract w Real Madrid, but can get out of the deal. sportingnews.com/nba/news/nba-t…

This makes me even happier than when Bonner finally ended his reign of terror, tbh.

The Warriors know this has a marginal chance of success, but league sources say they intend to at least explore their free-agent chances with DeAndre Jordan, who is not only close pals with Kevin Durant but also one of GM Bob Myers' former clients

The Portland Trail Blazers will not tender Pat Connaughton a qualifying offer, a league source told The Athletic. He will become an unrestricted free agent as a result.

I liked him in the G League but he is not tall enough and really is passive on offense.

By declining Nowitzki’s option for 2018-19, Dallas can potentially create about $28 million in salary-cap space this summer for the pursuit of Jordan and other free agents.

Nowitzki has spent his entire career in Dallas and will enter next season — his record-setting 21st in a row in the same uniform — just 233 points short of passing Wilt Chamberlain’s 31,419 for No. 5 on the N.B.A.’s career scoring list.
