One thing good about Today's NBA is a lot of the ties are being exposed. No talent ass clowns who were only in the NBA bc they were tall or big are getting rooted out

Story from earlier on Lakers guaranteeing center Ivica Zubac's $1.5M deal for next season: sports.yahoo.com/sources-lakers…
San Antonio SpursOffseason focus
- The future of Kawhi Leonard: Eligible for $219 million extension or explore the trade market. When is the point of no return?
- Kawhi trade packages: Stay compe ive or look to rebuild?
- The restricted free agents: Kyle Anderson, Davis Bertans and Bryn Forbes
Exceptions
- Non-tax midlevel: $8.6M
- Bi-annual: $3.4M
Cap-space breakdown
- The Spurs are not operating from a position of strength this summer when it comes to flexibility.
- Though the front office has shown to be creative in the past in creating cap space, San Antonio will enter the offseason with $95 million in guaranteed contracts. This does not include the $8 million in salary holds on restricted free agents.
- For San Antonio to create room, Pau Gasol and Danny Green would have to be traded and their free-agent holds would need to be renounced. The Spurs would have close to $32 million in room in this scenario.
Second-rounder: Chimezie Metu (PF)
Team needs
- Starter: C
- Bench: PF
Free-agent status
- Rudy Gay | Non-Bird (player option)
- Joffrey Lauvergne | Non-Bird
- Tony Parker | Bird
- Kyle Anderson | Restricted Bird
- Davis Bertans | Restricted early Bird
- Bryn Forbes | Restricted early Bird

We were lucky Murray fell to the Spurs at 29bc I remember the Spurs scouted Ulis extensively and were rumored to be very interested.
GO SPURS GO
SIGN A STUD FOR THAT
Spurs have enough guards tbh. Need some front court players
All the Spur guards are trash though tbh.
The Wolves would likely match at that price, but I’d love if we offered that to Bjelica.
We need a playmaker. How about Tyreke Evans? He's too expensive?
Marc Stein @TheSteinLine
The NBA notified all teams today -- in a practice it introduced this time last year -- that they are allowed to schedule free agent meetings with prospective players as of noon ET, according to league sources

To clarify: This rule was ins uted in before free agency last summer and teams were reminded in a June 11 memo that they were clear to schedule free agent meetings with players as of noon ET today -- essentially 12 hours before the marketplace opens
looks like 12:01 deal is arranged for Will BArton
Well if we know Kawhi is gone, then Spurs can at least get an idea of what free agents, if any, to make a play on.
Yeah but face it Mills and Green aren't going anywhere. But spurs have some nice young ones in Murray/White/Walker. I'd rather try develop the young trio and find a nice stretch PF or defensive C instead
Spurs are about to blow up that MLE on Jamal Crawford and the Bi-annual on Cole Adrich.
IMO, he’s worth the MLE.
