LeBron and Gilbert have hated each other since comic sans, I doubt James didn't already know that .
True, this just makes it more awkward though.

Can someone explain to me why as a small-market OKC is about to foot the largest tax bill in NBA history and the Spurs weren't willing to be taxpayers for most of the Big 3's prime?

better question, why couldn't they pay Harden?!

From Philly; If Lebron stays home and OKC already locking up PG. Philly is reportedly mulling over offering Saric and Covington an maybe the Miami pick, adding Fultz for Kawhi and Mills.

OKC just retained George after a rental, despite more than two years of rumors that he wanted to play in L.A, just getting Kawhi on the team gives the 76ers a decent shot of retaining him.
Assuming he's willing to sign with Philly. No way they make that deal without Kawhi's consent.

Making up for not signing Harden to 4/$60 and being too cheap to buyout Perkins.

Also, if OKC didn’t go into the tax they’d have imploded and lost all of their good players forever.

All for a first round exit to Joe Ingles and Derrick Favors.

CP3 will be broken down by year 2 of the $40MM per year joke of a contract - straight up. Damaged goods. Good luck with that Houston.

Hopefully something like 4-yrs/$56M. He better not take a discount for them. Although he wouldn’t help with spacing at all for Lebron.

may not be on the team if he agrees to a buy out.
was never a melo fan, he would have a better year than before if he stays with okc though.

but i wonder if only lebron can save his soul.

I'm kind of being facetious here guys. Lakers are Evil Empire, no doubt.

But I cant think of a more juicy karma-filled storyline than giving Kawhi to a Lebronless and PGless Magic. After taking all of their recent highly touted (by lakerfan, mind you) picks. I mean, PATFO was just doing what Kawhi and his group requested.

You see, I can't think of a more richly deserved fate for that asshat than getting exactly what he wants. And I would love him to have to be the face of that organization when they suck balls. Kawhi would miss the relative anonymity of SA after about the third home game, tbh.

you have to wonder if lebron is worried about kawhi’s injury.

how do the cavs get compe ive enough to win a le? they owe SO much $ to hill and jr clarkson is overpaid too. they should try fleecing the hornets.

    I mentioned earlier, that the Cavs should at least try;

Hill, Zizic, Osman, Sexton, lottery protected 2020 1st rounder for Kemba and Batum

Hornets get a lottery pick back in Sexton, a possible future 1st rounder, and also get off of Batum's horrid deal. Getting rid of Kemba allows them to bottom out and try and tank.

Cavs add Kemba to Love and Lebron and Batum is at least useful if overpaid.

I wait until Lebron reups with Cleveland, and then poach LA of its young talent for Kawhi.

Uncle, you got next. Go get your nephew a shoe contract.
“Young talent” that talent is . What is it with Spurs fans overrating the living out of ty players?????

Per Chris Haynes, Clippers have Kawhi in their sights.
