Two former players signing today shows the organization in a great light
I think this is a really good point in the context of what is going on and the slander from people due to Kawhi. Danny stayed. Rudy came back and spoke glowingly of SA. Beli came back. Whether we like the moves aside, it shows a lot that players who were here/around chose to stay/comeback.

They all know its a business and trades happen but Kawhi is the only one actually bailing.

l would love to see the Spurs give him a shot. He has been huge defensively and shoots 45% from 3.
Totally fell off my radar. Prolly looking for more security than a SL contract...?

Dwight is likely going to be bought out. Would you go there? For the min? For the remainder of the mid-level? (If I understand it right).

I think this team is better than we think. They will either:
    A. Have Leonard back, disgruntled but with something to prove. I can't believe he would sit out two years in a row. So if they don't trade him he will play, and who knows maybe he'll be awesome.
    B. Trade Leonard and get some quality pieces in return. They aren't going to give him away.

Either way they won't be the "same team" as last year. They will have Leonard back or whatever they get for him. And without him they were still a playoff team. I think Aldridge will be about the same player. His game will hold up well with age because he doesn't rely on quickness anyway. Murray is one year older. Gay will be healthy to start.

I'm not saying we can beat the Warriors, but no one can. I see some reason to be optimistic.

According to Eurohoops sources, Ryan Broekhoff has interest from the NBA, and especially the Brooklyn Nets, but also could stay in Europe and play for Khimki Moscow Region.
If he decides to move to Moscow and play for Khimki he will sign a two-year deal, but the NBA is also an option. Broekhoff will wait a couple of days to make his decision and see if he can actually find a contract in the NBA.

Logic says James should go to the 76ers. His brand will actually do better on the east coast than the west coast.

If the Lakers mess this up, they need to bring Bobby Knight out of retirement and let him be head coach for one year to bring some discipline into their team.

NBA teams paid players $3.3 billion in 2017-18. There is already $3 billion committed to players in 2018-19. The salary cap is going up by $83 million total over 30 teams. That is a cash crunch. Not a good year to be a free agent. OK, let it begin.
