You can't stop Kawhi or Lebron or Embiid one on one. Not gonna happen. And they will lock your ass up easy.

You're gonna risk Bron and Kawhi going to Philly and owning the conference for the next 3-4 years because of Jayson Tatum?

And no player from all those teams except simmons is worth anything.

    Philly

Kawhi, Lebron, Embiid is killing it. No joke.
Yep. Fans worry about potential LeBron wants to win now.

Fultz/RoCo/Saric/2019 Phily/2021 Miami for Kawhi/Patty + LeBron is a ing steal for the Sixers tbh.
I ran the math, it wouldn't work. They would add 10.2 million in salary from that trade and even if they trade Bayless, Anderson, and Korkmaz and take back no salary to a team with cap space, they'd still be at least couple million short of Lebron's max- without getting into all of the roster charges. Subbing Mills out for Green would save $1.5 but they still have Zhaire Smith's cap hold too and that's probably at least $2.5 million..

Edit. Forgot . They could just sign Lebron 1st (after dumping Bayless on another team) and then swing a trade for Kawhi.

This is definitely in reaction to the Lakers dropping the ball on PG13 and the Spurs not budging on the Leonard trade front..

Lebron clearly wants to be a Laker but he is just no going there to babysit Lonzo in' Ball and the rest of the kids. Magic must be ting bricks right now..

I would only help Philly with a trade to form a super team if it lands us Simmons. We don't need Saric, RoCo etc... Not beating anyone with these guys.

Simmons is a future super star-no way they part with Simmons-Saric and Covington are both above average starters and Saric still has upside, its a good start in a trade

Lebron likely doing due diligence while simultaneously using Philly as leverage for LA to make a trade tbh.

There's no way they're trading Simmons, especially if LeBron joins - he's represented by LeBron's Klutch agency, just like Murray. The question is, would this make Ainge bricks and include Tatum + picks in the trade package for the snake.

I'd still prefer Kawhi and Lebron in Spurs uniform though.

Bottom line is Magic thought he was Ainge and tried to low ball the Spurs. As everything is time sensitive and in retrospect he should have offered Pop the kitchen sink. Now, the only noted players he might sign is an injured Cousins and Anthony after he gets bought out.

Underwhelmed Aldridge in a meeting three years ago and begged for a second one to try and save face.

    PG-13 wouldn't even take a meeting

Never a good look. Like when Pop tried to meet with Grant Hill in (Chicago?) in the attempt to keep TD with the Spurs.

Or when the Spurs sent CWebb a video because they couldn't get him to come to SA for a meeting.

Not a good sign for Philly.
Yeah, because meeting Durant in the Hamptons worked out so poorly for Golden State

If it was just due diligence, I think this meeting probably would have been scheduled well in advance, though. It's not like it was a secret that Philly wanted LeBron.

The Sixers suddenly went from not getting a meeting to getting a meeting. Meanwhile, the media went from photoshopping LeBron into Lakers uniforms to saying "don't count Philly out, they still have a chance." That suggests there's at least legitimate interest from LeBron now.
