Lebrons decision at 34 years old is less of a basketball reason. Its really just positioning himslef for hollywood etc.

Pretty much
Change your sig son.
Kobe acting like he’s not salty
I really like both Lebron & Kawhi as BB players. But both of them really threw the Spurs organization under the bus, whether intentionally or unintentionally.
hate it. hate it all ...
Win 1 ring he’d become the GOAT. Laker fan base and media slurp job + les with 3 different teams would make sure of it...
The key is NOT taking bad contracts when the biggest asset in the trade is YOURS. You don’t get raped AND take out the Lakers trash.
So look, here is the link to LA’s salaries: http://www.shamsports.com/capulator?...e735e767821627
If LA got rid of everyone on their team except for Ingram, Ball, Kuz, Hart and and stretched Deng, they would have just enough to sign Kawhi in free agency to his max next year.
So any deal they sign this year that goes into next year eats into that. If they want 3 stars, they will have to trade for one since in the scenario above they will only have cap space for 2 (Lebron and Kawhi). They will have lost Randle and all depth but if they think Ingram/Lonzo/Kuz are worth a third star then that is the route they can go.
one more reason because Jordan is the goat and lebron.... great player but ..... after 3 - 6 in the finals.... wow... very weak

76ers should have the same level of interest in Kawhi. With LeBron gone, the East is between them and Celtics. Kawhi would shift that match up in 76ers favor.
And I think the Lakers learned their lesson from PG. That Laker team needs Kawhi. It’s possible they miss the playoffs or are a low seed without another superstar. LeBron can carry a team by himself in the East, but he’s never had to go through the West. He won’t do it alone in his 30s.
You gotta hold Leonard at this point. His value is rock bottom right now with Uncle Dennis already going out and killing any value he has left on the market.
Either that or you give him the supermax.
Sputs have til mid October to offer supermax, which went up 2 mil
Brian happy he can move to LA.
But wouldn't they sign the second star next offseason (Kawhi) and then move the spare pieces? Guess they could trade Kawhi now and have almost dedicated going into next offseason for a third piece.
Also, Kuzma and Hart make peanuts compared to Ingram and Ball. More likely they stay as depth.
Big Mona and Windy in the same city? Is there enough gravity for those two to coexist or will they swallow one another like a pair of black holes?
STephen A Smith said kawhi is willing to sit all year-
SAS on sports center saying Lakers and Spurs have have several calls already tonight to get a deal done ASAP.
What a got. Good luck with that Kawhi
