The Spurs had to be running a lot of public interference and doing a lot of enabling behind the scenes throughout Kawhi's tenure. Not sure he will get that same coddling anywhere else or get a pass from the media as he has in SA.
Kawhi may get what he wants in the end which is to play for the Lakers. He could also possibly win a championship or two with them but I do look forward to seeing this guy eventually suffer from a mental breakdown. I just don't see how being in a large media market and being put under more scrutiny will be good for his well being mentally.
at this point, that's true. but he could have said something weeks or months ago.
And of course there was no indication of any trouble until his uncle took over and wanted to build an agency.
The Spurs had to send someone in the offseason to keep him from practicing too much. The idea that they were ing with his health is ridiculous.

It's not at all. He destroyed the spurs reputation and the organizations ability to contend for les for years to come. Also I'm a firm believer of street justice.

TBH I always thought he was dumb re ed mute. You can even go back to posts I had in 2014-2015 calling him that.
The terms “re ” and “autistic” are thrown around a lot on this site. If you would ever work with children that have intellectual disabilities, you probably wouldn’t use it so freely. Anyway, I’m on my 40s and I remember Kareem well with the lakers. He hated the media just as bad as they hated him. He’s one of the reasons interviews are mandatory in the NBA.
Odd. When i said this in october you all defended him. Had he talked through this he probably would be traded. This is what happens when you are ashamed and afraid.
The next H-E-B commercial will feature Kawhi in a Lakers jersey.
As for his silence we don't know how much of this is media driven hyperbole.
