probably could have gotten rozier/Brown and a pick at last year's trading deadline. ingram is decent but it's going to be a long long time before spur have another player make 1st team all nba![]()
Lol. Thought you claimed to be a Spurfan, Jabari.
Btw, why you block everyone on Twitter, nancy?

At this point, I just want to see Lebron team up with Kawhi and be the GOAT, no way Spurs are gonna win anytime soon, Pop's on the verge of retirement and so is Manu. Tony is on his last legs and I don't really care for him, so who gives a at this point for what we get for Kawhi, he's a lost cause financially and from a players standpoint, just give him to the Lakers and hopefully Demarcus Cousins also signs with the Lakers so Lebron can win like 3 or 4 more rings and be considered the Goat.
He is not a bum
He is not a #1.
I think he can be a high level #2. potentially but Spurs gotta bring that out of him.
Game is about more than raw #'s you gotta be able to project.
Personally I d rather send you Kuz or Lonzo both have numbers superior to Ingram's in some cartegories.
But Spurs would prefer Ingram and rightfully so ...
Like I said before Irony is he is quiet and humble hard working he fits Spurs better than Lakers tbh ... but whatever.
Whether in LA or SA Ingram will prove me right ...
Legit #1's are hard to come by ... which is why I am glad we got the best one in the game ...
Honestly the Lakers deals. If you're going to move Leonard, call up the Warriors and say you can have the mute for Iguodala. Spurs make the NBA even more unwatchable while ing Magic down and get someone who would do more than Ingram to get them to the 6-seed for the next couple of years, since being a low level playoff team seems to be the goal anyways.
draft pedigree. he still has an appealing skill set and good length, plus he's young.
but the "potential" stuff wears thin as time goes by. he's 2 years in and hasn't shown enough to warrant those expectations anymore
Permaban
good numbers for a 20yo, versityle type player while still being raw with a lot of room to improve...
Maybe that's people's infatuation with Clarkson or Kuzma, but the upside with Ingram is off the charts, IMO.
if you really thought he was the 300th best player why would PATFO be targeting him in a trade among lakers prospects? he was like 130 lbs last year and just turned 20 there's potential there at least...
He's 20, he's athletic, he's skilled, hes on a rookie deal. We don't have many options. You can say that the better option is to get nothing and that's just wrong.
NBA turning into LA LIGA.
Golden State = Barca
Any brons team = Madrid
Boston = Athletic
Spurs = Las Palmas.
Its getting ridiculous. At least in soccer there is no cap space so its understandble.
But to be protected by cap space and still be the las palmas of the NBA is embarrasing.
You don’t trust the Spurs development team to help him use his talent effectively? Also another factor to consider.. the Lakers trading him and making him the odd man out can anger him and allow him to push himself to want to be great. The opposite could possibly happen but I think it’s unlikely.
You gotta have a back up plan and my back up plan has always been Lebron. The Spurs are like some old ass dog about to be put down for a good 20 years. They're 'Old Yeller' personified.
Yeah ok.
And now you're either paying Randle or taking Deng's contract back to get him.
exactly this. dude is a 6'9-6'10 wing with great potential on both sides of the ball. hed excel with Spurs.
I don't see a Kawhi trade that makes much sense for the Clippers anymore, honestly. We'd be hard-pressed to actually build a team around him with how much we'd have to give up in terms of players, picks, and cap flexibility - and with the LeBron/Lakers hype machine in full effect, we'd still be irrelevant anyway from a business perspective.
We talk about a Guy who averages 16 pts 5 rebounds 4 assists With a 47% shooting ( 39% 3pt) that’s not bad. He may lack a little bit of speed tough.
why do you keep bringing up deng?
the spurs are the one giving up the star, they're not going to be the one's taking on the albatross contracts here.
it would be randle if anything
The Spurs are never taking the Deng contract. Randle, depends on the contract but he's not awful. He could definitely be moved as well. I bet a 3rd team to take him would be easy as to find.
In other words your down with being a cuck.
If they can get Randle to sign for Gasol money then they probably have to do it. If Randle is going to cost Aldridge money I'd rather get nothing.
