This never happens in a real major sport regardless of score
They cut away for less than a minute. MLB still more major than the NBA. Seriously though. Why the obsession? I think you intuitively know baseball is a better sport than basketball and soccer. I'm on the baseball side of the debate but baseball could use some kind of overtime limit. They play so many games and every day almost, why the heck is there a 16-inning game going on between two average or worse teams? Even if it was two good teams, they need some kind of extra inning limit or not play them at all. How do they not have ties in baseball? They could do a points system just like soccer or hockey.
IIRC Disney Sports cut off a game to let us know that Osama Bin Laden got a proper muzzie funeral service.
