He doesn't strike me as a particularly hard worker, rehab or otherwise.
This was the Warriors chess move to downplay LeBron to LA. Eventually they will have a starting 5 of all-stars to end the season. Only positives to take here is if Cousins acts up it could hurt the Warriors in crucial moments of playoff games. I don't believe he got no offers, BS, this was set up by Warriors they let McGee go knowing what would happen. They knew this would give LeBron and the rest of the NBA a nice reality check.
He doesn't strike me as a particularly hard worker, rehab or otherwise.
I can't see how GSW will benefit from his presense except he is an allstar paid small money. He would slow an offensive tempo and there is no way he would become their main rim protector. Just additional offensive option supported with his strong belief he is a true 3-point threat. It's still GSW unbeatable smallball the rest of the NBA need to figure out. We can easlily handle the showers with healthy Kawhi, Kevin Love and Isiah Thomas))))
That could be part of the problem with Kawhi, Spurs had a pretty bad offseason last year did nothing to improve team. If they could get Kevin Love and Isiah Thomas that could change his mind a little bit.
No they aren't. And no it isn't.
Yes they are
i dont think cousins would say he got zero offers unless it's true
easiest thing for some team to call him out over
It's only 3rd of July and the first big domino everybody was waiting to fall to move (Lebron) just felt. It's still a period of discussion and negociation, he would have plenty in firm offers in the days to come.
Nobody can't reasonably think there's not one interesting team that would have given him at least double what he got.
Who I'm feeling for right now is AD.
Dude worked his ass off to get NO relevant again. They traded for Cousins and could even have illated GS in the PO with him, and now dude is packing for 5M...
true,..
i just wonder if he's done done at this point
Lebron never joined the Spurs or warriors so that doesn't make any sense
Pelicans sources came out and said they offered more. What's more likely is the offers Cousins got was low ball offers. Or lower than he thought. This is a guy that as on the verge of getting a super max in Sac. Was the starting center for the West but got injured. Teams didn't offer anything close to what a 27, dominant centre should get, despite an injury. He said, you, and ed the league.
^^Any team that would have offered a big deal would have been very irresponsible..torn Achilles is a killer, there's a good chance that Cousins is finished as a star and we're all just overreacting to his name..
a career cancer who doesn't contribute to winning even in his peak years is coming off an achilles and won't be able to play for more than 3 months and spur fan is scared? of what? he would take the ball out of the hands of their 3 point shooters anyways![]()
That will obviously have to change if he's looking for his next big contract.
Lol New Orleans had a meeting set with cousins https://www.yahoo.com/sports/demarcu...150003321.html
Dude gonna take less that Belinelli![]()
And Parker...And Manu.
The Spurs were not able to shove a stick in the eye of the Lakers but Cousins and George did a pretty good job. Looks like the Lakers are going to be the Warriors like the Suns use to be ours.
I honestly don't think Boogie will do much for this team. Achilles injury is almost always a death-blow to a career.
LeBron is playing with a squad of sub-par goons tbqh. McGee, Stephenson, and Rondo will not produce a ring
tbh
Uncle Dumbass is playing with fire..
Everything about this is disgusting. The likelihood of Cousins being reduced to a s of his former self, is irrelevant. It's the intent.I don't know which of these 3 is most pathetic . . .
- The lack of compe iveness, shame and the alarmingly increasing amount of groupthink among players, particularly prominent ones
- The lack of compe iveness, shame and desperation for constant attention and adulation from the Warriors
- The constant and shameless defending from their legion of backers in the media
