The humidity kills in Florida. Lived in San Antone for 25 years and thought the humidity was on earth...went to Florida and realized I was wrong, on earth is Florida and its humidity.
It's not that bad. Dd says she drinks MUCH less water in Miami than Austin or California - that natural hydrator :-) is great for the skin.

Agreed. I'd live in Phoenix before I'd live in Florida.

One-party Republican government is hideously corrupt, in short.

State government costs what it costs. Ask yourself: if there is no income tax, how does the Texas state/local government fund itself?

    (hint: rhymes with mopertee faxes)
Why is it more corrupt than a Blue State exactly?

    Didn't say it was.

One party rule in any state, red or blue, tends to things up, unless you get someone like Brown who is a genuine technocrat, a rare occurrence.

Democrats for all their faults, tend to have more evidence-based policies. the Trump party has run science out of town on a rail at this point, and that just is a force multiplier when it comes to the effects of corruption.

Hillary doesn't run any state government.

I am talking about anti-abortion bullpuckey, creationism being taught in schools, "abstinence only" sex education, private prisons, etc, etc.

I agree about private prisons and i am not for abstinence only education. I don't give a about creationism. Why should i? I stay out of abortion votes and the debate in general.

I think the Demcrats are ing crazy in their own way who are even more dangerous at this moment. Or at least they allow the crazy to lead them.

The right has gone off the deep end long ago, in letting evangelical radicals run the party. "trickle down economics" all sort of anti-science movements, the demonization of education and climate change denial.

Sorry man, the Trump party has become the party of rich white guys, by rich white guys, and for rich white guys. The tax cut that pretty much only benefitted the wealthy made that pretty clear, as does any collective picture of the Republican party leadership. Don't take my word for it, look through GOP policy priorities, and look to see who really benefits.

    Answer me this:
Who benefits MOST from the idea that the left has "gone off the deep end"?
