At this point, I’ll take whatever Philly offers as anything on their roster outside of Bayless is better than practically anything the Clippers can offer and Lakers will offer.

Time to pull the ripcord OR go the long game and make Kawhi sit out and destroy his career. That’s as good as anything at this point.
I disagree. Ingram is by far the best prospect out there that the Spurs can get. That has to be the priority. Convington and Saric are playoff worthy rotational players and Convington is on a great contract. But Ingram can be something special sooner rather than later.

If you don’t have to take on Deng, then I can get behind it. But seems like that’s what the Lakers will force. Because other than Deng, they don’t have contracts to trade that don’t amount to most of their other young guys (notably Ball).

That is the hitch in the giddy-up, yes?
Ingram could truly be a contender. He could have been somebody.

But Ingram is not worth Kawhi with a happy agency.

Kawhi is worth multiple court practices with his coach.
    No Uncle Goober.
    No incompetent Impact.

Just Kawhi, his "teammates" and his "coach".

He's 100 percent. Right? Who wants to bet a "meniscus tear" happens on the 1st practice?

    -Move Leonard...

I like Marcus Smart and I think he fits in well with the Boston culture but at the end of the day he's an undersized shooting guard that can't shoot.

More the like would be a three way trade between Clippers, Wolves and Spurs with KL landing in LA, and maybe Aldridge and Tobias Harris landing in Minnesota, with Wiggins and Towns in SA with others going out to balance salaries.
Lmao minnesota is not doing that trade lolol

tbh... announcers always like,,, well the things he does doen't always show up in the stat sheets... that's a problem at the wage I imagine he's expecting. I just see him as a BAE guy...

Boston had a lot of great and useful players, but they can easily foul this all up. They have hard decisions to make.

They’ve been trying to thread a needle to build the team best equipped to win a le but along the way are going to piss people off - both rival GMs and players. Rival GMs are already hesitant to deal with them. And they don’t necessarily show any loyalty to their players. Ainge basically recycled everyone from the 2016-17 team with a few exceptions despite how well that team played. Soon enough, it’ll only be Brown left from that squad and possibly Horford / Rozier. The door hit everyone else on the way out.

Didn’t think it would happen, but now wouldn’t surprise me if Irving left next offseason which is why they’ll probably keep Rozier around.

I don’t know a team which would love to give up equivalent value for a 2x DPOY, a Finals MVP on a one-year rental, a wonky quad, and a bat crazy posse.

Could Spurs be in running for Capela next year, assuming he takes 1 year deal? Houston needs him now more than ever with potential threat Cousins is.

OKC will be parting ways with Anthony this summer. I hope Bufford and Pop don't get any bright ideas.

Not sure on Capella. Wanted him when we could draft him. I think he works in a certain situation, just not sure how we will fit with him. Throwing so much money at someone like that.
