Even though they lost the series, that game 1 layup against Miami, the stepback 3 against LeBron and layup to give the Spurs the lead in Game 6 were my personal favorite Parker plays. Almost broke Miami's back.

Merci beaucoup, Tony! Kawhi c'est de la merde, tbh.
It should've had Kawhi not choked at the free throw line, tbh.
Timmy gone. Tony gone. Manu probably gone. Kawhi about to be gone.
2014 seems so long ago tbh.

Or if Pop didn’t make the dumbest coaching decision in NBA history by taking Timmy out.
The Spurs Big 3 was my childhood.![]()
GOAT PG indeed. Not in the same echelon for me as DROB, TD, Manu, but man he was fun to watch in his prime. I always admired how we didn't shrink from the Pop abuse of his early years.
It will truly be wild seeing TP for another team! I hope he has a good year. I know it was the right move for all parties and that there is no bad blood, but it still sucks as fans who grew up with the Robinson to Tim/TP/Manu core especially since Kawhi is not 1/100000000th the Spur TP/Manu/Tim have been.
He took a lot of abuse this year from the media and some stupid fans in here for what he said about Kawhi. I actually felt bad for him this year. I remember seeing a picture of him a few months ago with Duncan during practice and he just looked depressed.
will be really odd seeing him in another jersey next year. I wish him well.
Awesome player to watch in his prime. He was literally the fastest player in the NBA for a stretch and he led the NBA in points in the paint too for years which is just incredible. Hall of Famer and spurs legend man.
Thank you, TP!
I’ll always remember his play in 07 and 13. He’s the star of so many of the franchise’s greatest moments. One of my all-time favs. Not as fundamentally sound as TD, not as unpredictably chaotic as Manu, Parker was somewhere in between. And that balance is what made the big 3 fit so perfectly.
Good luck in charlotte! Have fun running trains on Jordan’s wife with Nic Batum
This. My lasting memory of TP will be his Game 6 steal followed by a basket, and then a step-back three over Lebron, at a time when it looked like the game was lost and TP had been injured (a conveniently forgotten fact by many). Pounding the did a story on it once and compared it to a remarkably similar sequence that MJ conducted, except his team won that game.
But to me that's ok. TP, a 19-year old Frenchie half-breed that was overlooked by the entire NBA save the Spurs, and was supposed to amount to nothing special. Yet at his peak, he almost dethroned the self-anointed "King" and led his team to victory. The loss is very bittersweet for me.
2014, to me, was the whole team breaking out in honor of all the sacrificing Spurs, particularly TD, TP and Manu.
I still remember seeing him in his first game as a Spur.. about 3 feet behind the 3 pt line, and sinks his first 3 pt attempt with some funky ass raw shooting form. Drained it. Wasn't long before he sent AD to the bench. Will suck to see him in another jersey, but it had to be done.
I'm confident in a couple years the Spurs will sign Tony to a 10-day contract so he can retire a Spur, tbh.
Best guard in franchise history.
Top 10 all time in playoff points and Top 5 in playoffs assists.

I'm a Manu fan but yeah, thanks for everything!
Annoyed that he just missed 1,000 wins, tbh.
This team wouldn't have been the same without him, he was a great contributor to all this franchise managed to achieve in the last 20 years
Spur for life
