Not celebrating the 4th of July in present time because the USA was a slave nation in 1776, is completely stupid. I could understand not celebrating it, and in fact would support the decision if we lived in that time period, or if the USA was still a slave nation. Holding a grudge for over 200+ years just isn't a good look. You have to focus on the now.
