They let Tony walk because of all the guards already on the roster. Not interest in new ones.
Great job Blazers
They let Tony walk because of all the guards already on the roster. Not interest in new ones.
He's worth more than that if we're going by the market. Steal.
How does lavine get 78M and this guy only get 48M?
Lmao who you taking to bruh?
This fool pleading to his imaginary friend![]()
Do the Spurs even have cap space? So unless it's a sign and trade not sure how they'd get him.
Better question is, how does Patty get more than Nurkic..?? At least LaVine has some upside (although it’s still an awful contract for Chicago).
Making Patty Mills type money for a center of this caliber. And people here want to give Fathead $9+ mil/yr... that .
Simply amazing how all of these qualified NBA agents are able to maximize their clients’ value and get them solid deals![]()
Nurkic is a slightly above average C, I don't know why you guys are talking about him like he's Shaq![]()
Above average pf/c.
So rare.
They all think it's Jokic.
Nurkic is getting about 2mil more a year than what he should be paid, good for him.
If the Spurs aren't overflowing with offensively challenged guards and had good offensive playmakers Smart would make sense. The Spurs as currently constructed should have no interest in Smart. He can't ing shoot.
Not to mention there’s only room on the floor for one big these days, and a lot of mediocre bigs chasing money. Wings like LaVine are much more in vogue right now and can play multiple positions.
Nurkic is a good rebounder and fine offensively, but let’s not confuse him with the guy the Nuggets kept instead of him. Plus hasn’t there been some at ude issues in the past with him?
’s about to pop off. I can feel it
No. Jokic is a max player.
Well maybe Charles Barkley...lol.
28 PTS, 20 REB, 8 AST, 6 BLK
2 assists and 4 blocks from a quadruple double against the Nuggets last year. He's 23.
He's a stud. He's young. He's only going to get better. He's signed for 4 years on a a cheap deal. It's. A. Steal.
He shoots 30% from three, which on its own could be improved with some coaching. Get that up to 34% and it changes things for him. What’s scarier is how bad overall he is from the floor.
Can’t tell if it’s trying to force shots or just being awful at it. If he could shoot he’d be getting $20+
Would be ing stupid not to do background check on a top 5 player on the block or at least a team willing to listen to offer
Yes, he did in Denver, but it may have just been due to playing time, to be fair..
Nurkic was really solid in his first season with Portland after he got traded, which is which is probably why most fans remember him IMO..he regressed heavily last season and Portland was even shopping him IIRC..
It's tough to fit Cs like him in today's game, like you said .
Were the Spurs one of them?
His True Shooting % was 52%(!!!!)
It's too difficult to find a place for these slow, unathletic Cs today..teams are looking for role player Cs that finish with explosiveness and can guard the perimeter, I just don't see a place for somebody like Nurkic, especially considering how poor his offense is..
Unless it's an offensive anchor like Jokic or Towns, I don't see the point IMO..
On another note, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is looking really good for the Clips in SL. Only 19 and has great feel for the game. High IQ player. Shoots it better than I thought too. This dude could be a stud PG imo.
If the Clippers ended up being a trade partner for Kawhi, I’d want this kid in the package (although I don’t see a trade with the Clips happening).
