Wait 'til Manu announce his retirement this weekend.
I remember Tony telling Pop “I’m only 30, I don’t need rest” and Pop saying “ok, get back out there”.
Wait 'til Manu announce his retirement this weekend.
Welcome back, sir!

Parker's number will absolutely be hanging from the rafters. I wish you good luck in CHA and see you on retirement day.
Yeah, it would be like seeing Hakeem in a Raptors jersey or Pat Ewing in a Sonics jersey.
I'm really going to miss TP. He had it all. Unstoppable in his prime and a real pleasure and marvel to watch. Damn we got lucky w TP. underrated by everyone it seems. Always well spoken too. This is a bitter pill. Much respect and admiration to a Spurs legend.
Malik Monk's live reaction finding out about the Hornets signing TP9. Pretty cool

Maraming salamat, TP9!
Can't believe this was so long ago. Feels like yesterday:

Man, it has been an incredible, fulfilling journey that is sadly coming to an end. I'll miss the speed, quickness, spin move, floater and most of all the candidness.
You never minced words and always kept 100. I'll miss defending you from your many detractors but they'll to find a new "whipping boy."
Thank you for all the great memories, TP9. Hopefully, we'll see you back in some capacity when the time is right!
Tony Parker you will be missed. This wasnt the way to go out, wish it was better cir stances for him to leave .. considering last seasons saga & the snake overhyping a quote. He deserved to finish his career with the spurs.
Indeed! Always thankful for you and Kori!![]()
This was unexceptional. Seeing TP in another uniform will be very strange. I suppose he just wanted a better contract. Wonder how it went down.
Thanks for everything TP. Hopefully he comes back on a vet min deal and retire a Spur.
The guy was a top 2 player in the league between 2012-2014.
He was the most important piece to the Spurs rising from the ashes one last time even though he declared the Spurs done after 2011.
Dunno the specifics but maybe it had more to do with his role. Probably felt he had more to offer than a mentoring role.
Thank you for his leadership.
Seeing this K(C)oward Leonard situation has made it so clearly that Big 3's steady leadership and be willingly to buy into Pop's programme was so under-appreciated.
Thank you Tim, Tony and Manu...
And then there were one...
He's my countryman, he's not TD but still.
Good luck in Charlotte.
Part of the plan to keep Kawhi..
Thank you Tony, you will never be forgotten
Well said sir! Parker was monumental and did a great job keeping pace (for the most part) of our team. A great point guard to go along with the fast pace the game was heading at that time, Parker could run with the best of em. Cheers to TP.![]()
I hope he uses the spin move on us. Gonna miss him.
Still can’t believe Parker is gone
