Republicans cheated, and gerrymandered their way into power in a lot of states. Not really a long-term strategy for winning.
What is astonishing is how fast conservatism is flushing itself down the toilet, and taking the Trump party with it. Close parallels are what happened in California after the state GOP started ting on Latinos, who used to split their vote fairly closely, and now vote for Democrats with 40+ point margins.
Coupled with the Trump party not picking women to run:
Young women, like young men, tend to have lower rates of party affiliation. What DOES matter to them, is whether there is a woman running on a ticket.
No Trump party women on ticket, fewer votes from unaffiliated young women.
Demographic trends don't happen overnight.
Outside your delusional echo chamber, not everybody buys your "muh social justice warrior" propaganda.
Most statements from conservatives that start with "the left is..." is pretty much a lie intended for the faithful to demonize people on the left.
