Kawhi Leonard trade: Spurs team-mate makes bombs locker room confession

Thought the following was interesting. Wonder what other guys besides LMA wanted to be traded.
There’s been guys that have wanted to be traded before, LaMarcus wanted to get traded at one point, some other guys were talking about getting traded but Pop and RC do a great job of changing their mind and building and changing the system to where they feel comfortable and want to be here and want to buy in and want to win.

Like Kyle, Blair and Joseph. De Colo and Jack. Maybe Green himself.
For sure, Kyle. Probably Joffrey.
That wasn't the "bombs "
LOL. So when Green says Pop did a "great" job of changing their mind...
Probably means just for that season or gets them to not up chemistry. Patty may be the only long-term guy PATFO got to buy in.
Why Kyle?
De Culo, Simmons, Blair and Jack came to mind. Maybe Deadmon towards the end. David Worst felt "disrespected" too for whatever reason. Horry didnt like getting yelled at. Usually its en led or ghetto black Americans that are too prideful to take an ass chewing and think they are better than what they are (no racist). They can GTFO, tbh.
$50,000,000 made him buy in even more.
Although that's not fair I suppose. He was already a diehard Spur.
Don’t think Kyle. One of the things Pop said at one point was that Kyle was really easy to coach bc he was willing to do whatever and play whatever role the team needed. I remember in his 3 season when he was a thirds string backup player, the press asked Pop about him and he said that Kyle never knew when he was going to play or if he was going to even plAay at all, but that he kept himself ready to play no matter how long it had been since he played real minutes and never complained about it. I was surprised at the time bc he appeared to regress (IMO lack of opportunity to play). I thought for sure he’d ask for a trade but it never happened. It’s possible Simmons bc after his exit he let it slip he felt restricted in Pops systems, and had his issues with Pops style. Danny himself being in so many trades, it just makes you wonder.
and ultimately Gasol. He’s been the one guy who doesn’t mind going public with his grievances about starting, roles, playing time, etc.
These are in recent memory. In the past one wonders about CoJo, he was always blocked in playing time. Blair was obviously outspoken about wanting to be traded too. DeColo, etc.
So whats the bombs ? That other guys wanted trade? Thats normal for any team that did not ring the year before
Good guesses.
I mentioned CoJo in my post bc he was severely blocked in playing time but that kid was really humble going back to the gleague voluntarily to continue to try to get better etc. He’s one of those roleplayers that may be limited but he worked hard. Maybe Pop got him to buy in. Just didn’t get the impression he wanted a trade.
The "bombs " was that the players thought Leonard still wanted to play with SA all the way through the playoffs.
I think the "bombs " was "please click and read this article that adds nothing that isn't already known".
well yeah
I was thinking that maybe Leonard came out to Green. Or maybe that Green saw Leonard dressed as a kitten at a Furrie party.
Didn't Danny Green pipe off with some comments early on that Kawhi told him he wanted to stay here and not be traded?
I wish this guy was gone.
Seriously this guy should just shut up and join a Pizza Hut midnight basketball little dribblers team and work on improving something instead of spouting off nonsense, arranging costume parties after a le defense elimination, and bird-dogging fat s on the river walk.
Express.co.uk is a terrible source. Has it been posted anywhere else? These guys happily and frequently post articles as truth when it is all nonsense. Then they randomly add in truthful articles just to confuse the out of us and make us question what is right and for some good old click bait. If it's been posted anywhere else legit then yeah but Express.co.uk is utter . I wish he was gone to. Right now. Yesterday would be better. Or a few years ago would have been better still.
Lol like any nba player buys into anything now. They chase money. Which is fine, but they talk about respecting the integrity of the game... too dumb to even be honest.
/thread
Goddamn nuclear truth bomb.
Guys, is Brad Stevens a younger, more open minded version of Pop?
What do you think?
Probably because Pop wouldn't allow him to be aggressive on the offensive end
