it was a download, over internet? how do you know?
supposedly the data was transferred at higher rates than available which means it was transferred from hardware to hardware and not via the internet. i have no clue tbh so unless it really comes to light, who knows?

one person has already gone to jail over this: Reality Winner.

Last year, Winner sent a report she accessed as an NSA contractor to the Intercept, a publication that frequently reports on the intelligence community. The report detailed attempts by Russian hackers to infiltrate the software of voting machines and the email accounts of elected officials in the days leading up to the 2016 election.

Radio silence from McCarthy....will take him awhile to spin today's events. In the meantime, here's something from the commie rag for which he writes:

    4. This indictment makes it even more troubling that Trump mocks, denigrates, and undermines the Mueller investigation as a “witch hunt.”

thinking Trump calls it a witch hunt because Mueller is going after Russians

Politico: Conservatives In House Working On Rosenstein Impeachment Filing

Conservatives in the House are preparing a do ent to impeach Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and could file the do ent as early as Monday,

it appears House conservatives are seriously ramping up their efforts to boot Rosenstein,

House Freedom Caucus members Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) and

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), desperate deflection!

two of Rosenstein’s most vocal critics, are leading the effort

White House officials furious at timing of Russia indictments: ‘A big FU from Mueller’

    White House officials are furious

that special counsel Robert Mueller dropped new grand jury indictments against
12 Russian military officials ahead of President Donald Trump’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The summit is set for July 16 in Helsinki, and plans plans?

for their meeting do not appear to be slowing down despite the new revelations.

“It’s a big FU from Mueller,” a White House official said in an interview with Politico.

He added that Mueller’s timing “wasn’t an accident.” duh!

“This is just one more case of political malpractice,” Trash DEFINES political malpractive

“It forces Trump to confront Putin.

If he fails to do so, he is admitting guilt.

This story will now consume U.S. news, and

blows up Trump’s claim it is all a witch hunt and hoax.”

Rosenstein said the timing of the indictments were:

“a function of the collection of the facts,

    the evidence, and

    the law and

a determination that it was sufficient to present the indictment at this time.”

How Russian Spies Hid Behind Bitcoin in Hacking Campaign

In early 2016, Russian intelligence officers obtained a new pool of the virtual currency Bitcoin. They quickly put the digital money to work.

The Russian spies used some of the Bitcoins to pay for the registration of a website, dcleaks.com, where they would later post emails that had been stolen from Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

When the operatives needed a computer server to host the dcleaks site, they paid for that with Bitcoins as well.

    The transactions were detailed in
an indictment on Friday from the Justice Department, in which prosecutors accused 12 Russian operatives of interfering in the 2016 presidential campaign through a sophisticated hacking scheme.

Russian Agents Acted On Trump’s Demand To Hack Clinton — The Same Day

, the president himself was actively cheerleading for the Kremlin’s cyber warfare tactics in the runup to the election.

And according to a new Indictment from the Justice Department and special counsel Robert Mueller, it looks like the Russians were taking Trump’s directions.

this one particular line jumps off the page of the indictment:

For example, on or about July 27, 2016, the Conspirators attempted after hours to spearfish for the first time email accounts at a domain hosted by a third-party provider and used by Clinton’s personal office.

At or around the same time, they also targeted seventy-six email addresses at the domain for the Clinton Campaign.

This is significant because on the same exact date — July 27, 2016 — then-candidate Trump said at a press conference,

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing.

I think you will be rewarded mightily by our press. Let’s see if that happens.”

The “30,000 emails” remark refers to Hillary Clinton’s personal emails as Secretary of State.

And according to the new indictment,

the Russians first started trying to hack Clinton’s personal emails on the exact same day.

it could be that the most obvious reading of the indictment and Trump’s statements is correct:

Trump gave foreign national a direction to commit a crime against the United States, and they listened.

Did Pootin's people tell Trash's people that they had probed the Dem machines and knew they could penetrate them,

an invitation to Trash to tell the Russians to do it?

    Trump’s presidency is illegitimate

Meuller’s indictments of 12 Russian intelligence agents prove that the Kremlin stole the election for Trump

It’s all right there in the indictment — day by day, hack by hack, theft by theft — how

agents of the Russian intelligence service, the GRU, set out in the spring of 2016 to steal the election for Donald Trump.

When you track the actions taken by Russian intelligence in the indictment with statements made by Trump and actions taken on his behalf by members of his campaign, the picture is as clear as an iPhone photo.

Agents of the Russian government coordinated with members of the Trump campaign and took cues from Trump himself in order to influence the election of 2016.

the intent of the Russians was clear. They took active measures over a period of at least nine months to aid the campaign of Donald Trump and to damage the campaign of Hillary Clinton.

They stole the election for Donald Trump, and he helped them do it.
    “The Object of the Conspiracy”:

“The object of the conspiracy was to hack into the computers of US. persons and en ies involved in the 2016 U.S. presidential election,

steal do ents from those computers, and

stage releases of the stolen do ents to interfere with the 2016 US. presidential election.”

The indictment is breathtaking in the specificity of the crimes it outlines, how those crimes were committed, and by whom.

the Conspirators targeted over 300 individuals affiliated with the Clinton Campaign, DCCC, and DNC,”

If the indictment handed down yesterday by the grand jury being run by Special Counsel Mueller doesn’t allege, albeit in a roundabout way, that Russia conspired with Trump to steal the election of 2016, I don’t know what it does.

Anybody who gets elected to office in this country with the help of the intelligence agents of a foreign power has been elected illegitimately.

    It’s not a tough call.

Donald Trump is president because Vladimir Putin wanted him to be.

He acts like he owes Putin every single day.

Twelve agents of the Russian intelligence service the GRU didn’t do all that spearphishing and email disseminating all by themselves.

They did it on orders from Putin.

    That’s why Trump owes Putin.

    Read it for yourself.

It’s right there in the indictment.
