I wouldn't say Dejounte has a jumper just yet, but he does seem like he's well on his way to developing it (in that it's trending in the right direction.) Handles look much improved as well.

Was that basket regulation height on that last dunk? If so he really got up there.

No way. His whole head is above the rim so quickly. To me. It's obvious it's about a foot shorter.

Why would he put up video on himself dunking on a lower rim. I think it is lower, but what is the point of putting up video of that? I wish it was on regulation height as that would mean to me he's been working his ass off.

That video of him dunking on a 7' 4" center looks totally staged too. Reaction by girl is overboard. Simple ways to get his videos viral and get people talking about him.

Agree. DJ does have potential. Let's see if he can start knocking down that jumper and take better contact while driving to the basket. This is your year to show us another jump in skill and poise.

He has great work ethic and you can tell he is not all talk about wanting to be great. I just have a strong feeling that he’s gonna take a big leap forward and surprise a ton of people. He may end up being the leading candidate for MIP. People talking about tanking but forgetting we have this guy and some other good young players with a lot of potential and great work ethic. I’m ready for next season to start.

Set shots are okay, especially with DeRozan in the fold now. But he's going to have to learn to hit those shots off movement before they really start to affect his offensive game. The good news is that with no Danny, DeJounte is going to probably be the guy to enter the ball to Aldridge most of the time. He'll have plenty of set-shot opportunities, to the point that he'll have to mix them up with cuts and duck-ins to keep his defender honest. But his ability to slip to the open spot is what would take him from a Bowen to a Prime Danny in terms of shooting dynamism.

Dumping the ball to LA only happened 9% of the time during the 48 minutes per game last season.

Dont think people realize that it wasn't a big staple of the offense.
