What if the Spurs have offered the supermax but Kawhi's group is insisting on a no-trade clause and the Spurs refuse to include it? To me it's plausible, if only slightly.
They have a phone number in the top right hand corner. Not suggesting anything. Just saying.![]()

The Spurs won't offer the supermax, nor should they for this POS.
But FWIW, even Westbrook didn't sign it until like 2 months after it was available IIRC.
Someone should pose as Kawhi and write up an Amazon review for their book discussing how the methods within helped you happily lose $80 million dollars.
Unless you're one of those people, I don't believe you.
"Boston hasn't included five players, includingJayson Tatum,Jaylen Brown,Kyrie Irving,Gordon HaywardandAl Horford."
Yeah, Woj is being fed some incorrect info there.
Not saying it makes sense, other than within their group delusion, but agents are limited in what % they get on an NBA contract. There is no such limitation on outside endorsements. They think that these non-existent, and highly unlikely to ever happen endorsements are their meal ticket.
Yeah. I hear Pop took away his PlayStation.
They're not offering it until or unless they're back around him for a few weeks and he shows a baseline of interest and investment. If that happens, the details would be negotiated after the fact.
Either way, they're not offering a no-trade clause. I could see them offering to work with his representation on a trade, if things don't work out. But they're not allowing him to have his cake (super max) and eat it too (request a trade next off season or at some point during the life of the contract and veto anywhere but L.A.).
cringeeeeeeeee
keep up the social media harassment tbh, i want scorched earth with those ing clowns. Make sure you get that concussed piece of Cris Carter as well.
Windhorst: Raptors have made a compelling offer for Kawhi

Windhorst: Raptors have made "a compelling trade offer" for Kawhi

The one time the Canadians could be useful on this board....

Says Ujiri is in Africa and has been in talks with the Spurs. Says the Raptors have defaulted into being at the top of the likely destinations because other teams aren't offering the Spurs their prized possessions.
Says the real issue here is the Spurs and their patience... whether the Spurs want to wait to see what teams will offer later (like re-engaging with talks with the Celtics) because the Raptors package is really compelling.
Hope you like poutines you autistic![]()
Just like they did to Nelson Mandela
Considering the reports of what the Spurs were asking for in a trade for Kawhi, if the Spurs consider it a "really compelling package," it must be pretty decent tbh. Wonder what the offer on the table is. I thought they'd be lucky to get anything more than just DeMar + OG at this point, but if Toronto really is offering something like:
DeMar + OG Anunoby + Siakim + a 1st Round pick,
I think it'd be hard for the Spurs to turn that down, tbh...
Derozan is as good as it's going to get. PATFO would be pretty stupid not to pull the trigger. There's the all star they've supposedly been looking for.
Agreed if Derozan and OG is offered then they need to go for it. Derozan is a legit all-star and OG has potential to be an all-star caliber 3.
