If this happens it is good for Spurs. DeRozan is a true Allstar with s couple years left on his contract. Leonard is shipped out of the conference and punished by having to live in cold weather and pay high taxes.

I really think Kawhi has a chronic injury and the Spurs are lucky to get an Allstar player who is more of a sure thing in exchange for him.

A third string point guard, a bench forward and a forward who has the mentality of a 6 year old out, in an all star shooting guard, Walker, Belinelli, Cunningham, possibly a couple others. Yeah, let’s reference 2k to back up that winning argument.

Pop wanted to meet with Kawhi before any trade talks went down like a week or so ago. I posted about it here. Not sure when. I think a little over a week ago. Not sure if Pop got that meeting because apparently Kawhi and his camp have been difficult. So the Spurs really didn't want to trade Kawhi, but he did NOT want to be here whatsoever. So its not like the Spurs didn't try to make this better. I just can't wait for the stories from Michael C Wright to come out with those stories.

I'm with you. Can't wait, and yet I will be glad to move on from the drama and have a roster that is fairly settled to cheer for.

Can we flip DeRozan immediately, because honestly he's one of the most overrated basketball players in the league. I'd rather just move on from this entire roster and remold everything. Hopefully, OG Anunoby is in the deal. I would have rather traded for Jonas Valanciunas.
