We got the best we could! Kawhi's group backed the Spurs into a corner and they got a guy who played 80 games as opposed to 9. A back up big man, which we needed.

Trust me. DD was the last person the Raptors wanted to trade there. He is an elite possibly the most athletic guard in the NBA. Gets to the line and has an improving 3 ball. In his prime. Possible silver lining: coming to the Raptors in exchange for one of their 2 all-time players and one who was very loyal, Kawhi will get hounded by the Toronto media. Let's see how he holds up to that...
