    Just turrible.

    What a ty return.

    Demar 'kobe chuckin' Derozen?

Some feather big man in a small ball world?

Still have ing contracts of Gasol and Mills?

    Jeez.... ing A.

I honestly would have rather watched Kawhi sit out the entire year just to waste a year of his prime than to go through with this.

What did you expect? Did you think Golden St was going to send Durant in exchange? Some of you guys need a reality check. This is about the best possible outcome of ty situation.

In terms of saving money, yeah.

    In terms of winning, no.

This was about as good as Spurs could do with no leverage unfortunately a lot of people thought we had the leverage when it just wasn’t the case. All lies on Murray, White and Walker to develop into what they’re truly capable of being and the team should be fine in the long run.

Derozen is a career loser, especially in games that matter. He's a pure chucker and volume player. Literally, he does NOTHING to make his teammates better. He needs the ball in his hands to do anything, and that anything is to chuck.

Poeltl is intriguing, if it were the 2000s when big men actually mattered in the NBA. There is no way we'll be playing Aldridge and Poeltl consistently at the same time, going up against the Warriors or Rockets....

Danny Green is in decline. Sure he's a nice guy, but he couldn't shoot anymore to save his life. But he could somewhat still defend - which hurts us, as we don't have anymore wing defenders.

We still have Mills or Gasol. The end.

in some ways, leonard is not too different from derozen offensively speaking in that kawhi also was an iso player for a good chunk of his last full season here. where leonard is a beast is that he is more physical on both ends. we'll see whether or not he is really damaged goods though. i have no problem with letting green go. and i won't make any comments on how this impacts the cap because there is no way of knowing what moves the spurs may still make regarding the roster and cap space. if the spurs can pull off getting someone like butler to come over next season then they will be pretty decent. ultimately though, the spurs have to hope that one of their younger players becomes the next star. and considering that it's the warriors trophy for at least the next couple of years, the spurs will have some time for that.

Not sure what benefit of this trade other than sticking it to Kawhi's group. DeRozan is a flawed player and a team with LMA and DeRozan as your best players is a recipe for disaster in the playoffs. Let's hope one of our young guards becomes a star.

Spurs could have gotten the entire Raptors roster for Kawhi and ST would call it a horrible trade
