May sound like sour grapes, but I honestly don't think this guy has the self-confidence, judgment, and health to deal with the coming adversity.

He engaged in a charade that's x1000 more disgraceful than KD's, except he won't be walking into the comfort of a 73-win team. When the slings and arrows start coming his way, don't be surprised, if he just.....quits.

Karma is about to be a to Kawhi. I wanted him to be an all time great before all of this BS. Watch DeMar DeRozan work extremely hard to improve his game and come out even better (I hope).

Best case scenario he sits out, loses his entire year's salary, s over player-centric contracts for next generation, then gets into a car wreck that screws up his knee and he can never play again.

what self-screwing disaster KL and his "group" have created, on top of KL's tragic chronic disability.

    10s if not 100s of $Ms lost

Kawhi will get the last laugh when he is on the Lakers.

Toronto will cave and accept the Lakers trash.

Magic? If that occurs, it's likely the NBA, ESPN and affiliates forcing it

It wouldn't be shocking if the Spurs declined the bag, but Toronto takes it..NBA is desperate for Kawhi in LA, their current roster is borderline playoffs..

Toronto knows exactly what they're doing. They'll have tons of cap space next year to go after free agents while the Spurs will be in tax . This was a pure salary dump by the Raptors. They wanted to get of DeRozen and they got one year of Kawhi as a gift.

Where he plays this year is irrelavent. We know where he'll be next season.

Of course..I was just referring to the possibility of trading him mid-season, especially if the Lakers disappoint..

This move was great for Toronto in every way..it also gave Masai an excuse to dump DeRozan's terrible contract..

Doubt they can get by the Dubs. Maybe with some injuries.
