Get in here if you support the big Austrian.
He was a lottery pick. Let's hope he can improve in SA.

As I said during LA-trade dicussion (Wagner, Bonga), closest to witnessing a german Spur since Ademola Okulaja playing summer league in 2003
Herzlich Willkommen bei den Sporen, Jakob![]()
Count me in
How the do you pronounce his last name?
OMG! One of my questions for the team heading into the new season was who will play center along with LA on the court (Gasol is too old), and the video highlight below just answered my question.
Rhymes with turtle.
Huh. Top 10 plays look nice. I sort of like "Poeltl Power". Now let's see the Low 10 plays.
is he better than parker's french buddy?
If this dude puts on some muthle he could be pretty good. We don’t need another gasol. We need some power
Hurtle, basically.
Splitter 2.0 or just Splitter that can dunk.
Different player than Splitter for sure. He was a former lottery pick with good upside. Looks like a great addition and not just a filler.
He's only 22. There's still time, especially for bigs.
Hope so . Dude barely played fir being a top 10 pick and many have called him a bust
Is my hope, if spurs know how to develop a big man
Well, let's just say he's an upgrade over Lord Joffrey. I'm sure he'll have more than 2 blocks this season![]()
He probably will work out. I hope he isn't the second coming of Trasho Nesterovic.
This guy likes to dunk over people with mean intentions. I already like this guy.
If he's as good as Baynes, I'd be happy.
I'm excited to see if Manu can get him going on the p&r... and those blocks are exciting to see
Best case scenario, we have our starting center for the next decade; he probably tops out at a borderline all-star center, which is important going forward as the league is going to start transitioning back to being dominated by bigs in the next 5-10 years (Embiid, Towns, Jokic, Gobert, Porzingas, JJJ, Ayton, Bamba, etc.)
