Mueller has enough on a good chunk of them. Don't underestimate that. Gowdy and Ryan "retiring" isn't coincidence.
do tell, if you've any more to say on this.

You could be right. We'll see.

If DJT makes it to 2020 he has a pretty good chance of re-election.
    How are you seeing re-election?

The POS shot the goodwill of the people who held their noses to vote for him. Are you saying he will again win Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin or even more blue states?

Well what we know is this. NRA is under FBI investigation for accepting Russian funds and funneling them through the GOP. The RNC was asked to preserve all do ents by Mueller's team. Paul Ryan and Mitch Mcconnell both accepted those funds for disbursement. Three prominent GOP leaders all retiring around the same time? Jason Chaffetz, Paul Ryan, Trey Gowdy. Record number of other GOP "retirements".

House Republicans are not stonewalling a bill to protect Mueller because they like Trump. Many of them accepted foreign funds. Wikileaks never release GOP do ents but they do have them. Kompromat. The FBI raided that GOP consulting firm for some reasons. And now you have the Russian spy arrested and within that affadavit it stated she was working with GOP leaders. It sounds crazy because it is. But the GOP is compromised. They may not impeach Trump. But many of them are in legal jeopardy. Many.

In bents running for reelection usually win.

It's not wildly implausible to say DJT has a chance in 2020, just as it wasn't in 2016.

Will be interesting to see where the chips fall.

It might take awhile -- legal process is slow.

This is true. Mueller is ramping it up though. For sure.

Granted, that is with normal presidents who manage not to have a scandal every 3 days for 2 years straight.

There is no more goodwill. The special primaries that have been held (And won by dems) and the upcoming midterm election will be a good sign that the people are fed up.

Trump is not a normal president so the rule of thumb that in bent presidents automatically win, doesn't really apply to Trump. Save for more electon cheating.

I'm also starting to believe the guy wants to get impeach just so he can blame the Democrats. The invitation to Putin for the fall is a clear tell.

Why would he want to invite Putin of all people...in the fall when the midterms will take place. That only angers and energizes the left. Might even anger the actual decent conservatives in the vein of McCain and Romney.

I just gave you the trend. Republicans have been losing seats.

But ok, point taken. You can have your opinion over the facts.

it's very doubtful FEC and DOJ will prosecute, Congress may impeach but won't remove DJT.

djohn you should consider that railing against DJT non-stop isn't a winning strategy. DJT being POTUS is the living proof.
    Presidential felonies ok now.

Republicans in congress are ready to throw him under the bus. At some point, enough proof will come out when Mueller finally drops his report, if not sooner.

Wish I knew where the tipping point was. I really want my horses back.

Republicans will lose seats, it's what happens in the midterms to the party in power.

Not sure where your cer ude comes from, present facts don't necessarily dictate future outcomes.

GOP voters support DJT at a 9-1 clip; the GOP is the party of Trump.

I'm less sanguine than you that congressional Republicans will piss backwards on their own voters.

I didn't say corruption was ok, I just expressed my opinion that executive LE agencies and the US Congress won't do anything about it.

I wonder at the motivation of the retirements. Call me an optimist, but I think no few of them are doing so, to free themselves for a potential impeachment vote. (one or two brave souls have stated this motivation)

Trash would be the first President ever removed from office by being convicted by the Senate.

The craven Repugs are terrified of Trash's cult.

If Dems win control of the House to impeach, they won't have 2/3 of the Senate to convict.

I imagine that an impeached Trash could call for violence by his cult.

You know what, I take it back. Ryan might bring an impeachment vote to get Democrats on the record, since impeachment doesn't have strong voter support in this nation. The GOP might want to make this midterm about impeachment. But Ryan would never bring it up for vote if it could actually pass.

Do you think republicans retain the house? I think democrats take either the senate...but more likely the house. 1 of 2.

The Democrats have a good shot at the house. To win the senate would require an unbelievable blue wave election considering how many Democrat in bents and how few GOP in bents are on the ballots.
