I’m on the Bryn Forbes bandwagon. Why?

    1. Not crowded. There’s a lot of room on the bandwagon to stretch out in.
    2. Spurs resigned him. There’s got to be a reason why.
    3. The more Forbes plays the less Mills does. Forbes may not be a great defender but next to Mills he’s a defensive MVP and he’s no more capable of clanging critical shot’s than Mills.

This is Forbes year to shine. You heard it hear first.

Mills and Forbes have similar games to me. White fills a different role, much more versatile in the Manu mold although obviously not as good and never will be. Forbes has a good shot, quick release, just needs to settle down, gain confidence in game situations. Doesn’t give up as much as Mills on the defensive end. Just my take.

Nope, I already heard that somewhere else. Sorry.

A bounce back year equals = Gary Neal 2.0. He can actually play a little defense unlike Neal.

We can hope, but I am hoping for both Mills and Bryn to be gone. I am sick of 1 skill (shooting) small guards...

Honestly at this point it feels like we are just throwing as many shooters as we can up against a wall and seeing what sticks. Rooting for Bryn but I believe he's got some mental hurdles to overcome and needs a strong shot of confidence. Oh yeah and make your goddamn free throws.

Forbes may be my least favorite Spur in almost fifteen years of being a fan, he just pisses me off.

I don’t mind him - he works hard but he’s put in bad spots by Pop IMO. I just don’t like how he seems mentally weak; every time he does something wrong it’s an obvious pout from him. I’m glad he cares, but dude needs to relax.

ST has been through this, Forbes isn't a Mills replacement because he isn't nearly as good.

PATFO had Fobes replacement on roster in White; then signed Beli, then ,inexplicably, brought Forbes back

Gary Neal can carry an offense at times. And Forbes ain't guarding in the Playoffs.

forby will never be 1/5th the player neal was.

Undersized two-guard, very streaky shooter, who can't defend- it feels like the Spurs have to have a player like him on roster. Bringing him back for two years, $ 5 million is cheap enough for a player PATFO likes but White and Beli are both better than him and play similar roles, I don't get the move from a roster building stand point.

I agree 100% on that angle. The Spurs have made some absoultely puzzling decisions especially if they knew about TOR being a trade partner and having to give up Danny/Kawhi for DeRozan. Getting OG would have solved a ton of problems.
