What’s ironic for me is that two of my favorite teams this week lost superstars. Leonard with the Spurs and Machado for the Orioles. It’s funny because both trades pretty much happened on the same day. Only difference is Machado wasn’t a throughout his situation like Leonard was.

From what I understand from my Canadian friends, Toronto media is not expecting to hear from Kawhi until training camp l.
I'm fairly certain he would've stayed had he been offered the money. Too bad that money has been tied up by Chris Davis, tbh. Still can't believe we picked him over Cruz and failed to deal Britton at the end of 2016. Now admittedly, while I thought Ubaldo would be a bad investment, I was all about the Alex Cobb signing.
But yeah, Peter Angelos is on the opposite end compared to PATFO.
BTW, I'm from the other side of the state (MoCo). I was already an O's fan before the Nats showed up. Even though the Nats have consistently been the better team, I'll always be an O's fan. I like the O's blue collar culture and I think the Nationals are just a product (as all sports teams are) but they don't even make an effort to even look like an actual baseball team. Just a product for yuppies to consume when they feel bored. How did you get on the Spurs train? For me it had to do with them being the anti-Lakers from a cultural and being their clear "rival" in the post-Jordan/pre-Lebron era 1998-2010.
Players who try to manipulate owners to get to where they want to be, only play when they want to play and how they want to play rarely end up being consider great, even if they are insanely talented.
anyone going to own up to the fact toronto sucks?
montreal wayyyy better
Vancouver is better than both.
I hope Leonard doesn't stay. It would make the trade look even worse from the Spurs perspective. Even though it's not the Raptors fault and the trade was a no brainer from their perspective, I still don't like that they were able to get him without having to feel any pain (Anunoby, Mills instead of Green, even looser protection on pick).
Kawhi in Toronto sucks the only thing that makes me feel better is that he'll be rehabbing in NYC by midseason.
It would suck if he resigned long term and we took that offer
Mute gonna Mute..

I guess you forgot Tim Duncan... 5 Rings within 3 different decades. To the person that stated that Spurs Fans will never know what it is like to have a super star come in.
Is his Vagina bothering him yet?
I can see Toronto catering to Uncle Dennis to a certain extent. They want them to feel welcomed, a part of the team/city/etc... I doubt we’ll hear anything about wanting a FO job or special section on the plane or anything too outrageous. I did see where one of the beat writers mention that they asked Kawhi his thoughts on the roster/potential moves. Norman Powell’s mom is friends with Kawhi’s mom and said she’d do everything in her power to convince Kawhi and family to stay and feel welcomed.
Could just be PR but it’s interesting that many are now thinking there’s a good chance he stays.
I didn’t think he’d go at all but maybe he is.
I still think it was all a trick and a master plan to get another star and kawhi coming back next season as free agent, only way to compete with warriors...
that smile is about as sincere looking as his comments about wanting to retire a spur sounded.
Gottal love how you changed your avi to the s bag in a new uniform and "my team" to 'Golden State Warriors'..
You can go follow him in the Raptors forum for all we care..I didn't knew you were a player fan..
