    No. He could've requested or "demanded" the trade and still played or told the Spurs privately of his intentions to leave so that they could get proper trade value. Sitting out while healthy and ing up the Spurs equity was beyond the pale. Also, this team was built better than any other team to beat the Warriors, so that excuse is bull , tbh.
