I remember this and some of us called it. The dude was limping around game after game with an obvious groin injury. Why the he was playing is beyond me.

If professional athletes can't get a proper diagnosis theb we're definitely screwed.
There was talk on Twitter that Green chose to play through the injury. Not sure how reliable or accurate that is...
He did not look right and other people said his shot may have been off due to him not having balance. I definitely thought something didn't look right. We knew he had a injury, but if the Spurs didn't pick up a groin tear, they're going to look like complete from this point on. That medical staff may have to be fired.

This is Danny sticking up for the guy he just got traded with. Nothing more. People will make more of it, but it's bull .
Yeah, Green was so obviously hurt, and he ended up missing games for it. It's weird that the medical staff missed the tear, even though they diagnosed him with a groin injury. As I said before, the injury really derailed what was shaping up to be a nice contract year for Danny.
This says more about Green than it does the staff. If he didn't have the tear treated and insist on his injury being fixed than bad on him. If he has a tear that is now in question at Toronto, does that mean the trade is rescinded or did the reported waiver for injury inspection apply to all players involved. We thought it was for Kwahi only.
That would be such a sneaky thing for the Spurs to do. How will we ever hold our heads up if they took advantage of Toronto like that.
Would explain why his defense slipped as the year went on...doesnt exonerate Kawhi completely though.
It's a ign ploy. They're gonna cut Danny cuz of this 'injury' and he's gonna sign with the spurs for the max.
Great. Another thing for the Spurs to take a hit on. If more media attention and Spurs bashing happens, I hope some real investigative reporting happens to look further into this.

It's not surprising, many of discussed it during the season..
He started off so well to begin the season, but looked physically diminished and fell off a cliff..many here questioned why Pop was playing him..

He stated that he got an MRI. He wanted to continue playing. The staff (plus his agent) told him he should get a 2nd opinion. He didn't want to.
Nothing to exaggerate. Ya'll reading too much into it because of the Kawhi stuff.
More interesting note is that Kawhi, who Danny supposedly is "friends" with, hasn't even talked to HIM about what's going on. All in all, a great listen.
Last interesting note, the Spurs have had "player meetings" before but NONE had EVER leaked out. Hmmm?!
Listen, "The Mute" is gone. Good riddance. He lost a solid team, about to lose his shoe deal, and now he's going to be considered softer than baby this upcoming season.
Maybe he tore it by playing through it.
always amazed at the amount of inside information that our ST posters seem to have when it comes to medical records. do they have a bunch of forged HIPAA release forms?
