It's not what you said, it's who you responded to. Don't feed the troll, he'll keep coming back. Best response is Crickets!
So with the addition of Tillman, I'm guessing that is going to give us two open slots for LB recruits, I'm hoping one is with Davis and the other is with a Hawaiian or California Polynesian.

So I have never heard of Tillman, so I took some time and watched his highlight film.
1. He plays with patience when trying to find the football, once he finds it he does a great job of closing on the football.
2. He is a very heads up player
3. He does a great job of taking on blocks.
4. He is well coached and knows how to read a play
5. He is a great athlete
He isn't a freakish athlete like Malik Jefferson but he has great instincts and knows how to play the position very well.
Also, all the film on him is of his soph year, I think once there is some junior film and even senior film he will move up to a top 300 player and a 4'star.
He’s ranked in the ESPN 300 and is already a 4 Star according to their rankings. He comes in at 245th overall in the country.
I should have qualified that by saying in the 247 system, I think he is a 3'star and ranked around 800 according to them.
ATH Jeffery Carter of Mansfield Legacy to A&M.
You know I have to admit, the A&M defensive back class is almost as good as the Texas DB class of last year, and that is saying a lot, I didn't think anyone could get close to that class. If they can keep it together they will have a heck of a back 4 in 2 or 3 years. Still we aren't doing bad either, coming off of a class as historic as the one we had last year, to get the quality we have says a lot about our coaches.
You know for all the talk about how good the A&M class is, they only have 1 5'star guy committed and 11 4'star committed. 4 of which are part of their DB class. For having 23 commitments that isn't a lot of high end quality guys. I predict they will be passed by Oklahoma, Oregon, Ohio State, Georgia, and maybe three other schools. It's still a great class and easily going to be a top 10 but it isn't going to be top 3 or top 5. I'm not even sure it will be better than our class.
One other thing of note
Texas currently has 14 commitments 7 are from Texas and 7 are from out of state. Never in my life have I seen that, and I've been following Texas recruiting since about 1983. I actually think when it's all said and done, this class might have more out of state guys than instate.

TCU offered earlier in the week.

The Football Brainiacs are saying Kimber was the last kid out of the camp last night.
He had a long meeting with Coach Washington and took a facility tour.
Per The Football Brainiacs, they believe RB McKel Broussard from Sherman Oaks, CA could be close to an offer.
He was impressing a lot of people and former players last night.

Man I hope he makes it.
He was such a good sport about not playing and not creating a fuss.
One of my favorite recent players and it had nothing to do with his play.
Ultimate team guy.
Lost his job to a true freshman as a senior and still went to work every day.

This dude is crazy fast. I saw 10.3 100M times for him last year at 6-2 200.
I said earlier in the cycle that Texas' class from last year is going to undoubtedly be a factor this year and we are seeing this. Aggy DB class is good, but putting it on the level of Texas' class last year- Not so much. Richardson and Carter(even with his issues) are really the only 2 I see on the same level of last years DB's we signed. But , I'm just doing this for fun, so I better put an IMO behind all of this.
Shepherd told The Football Brainiacs this will be a commitment.
