Same here, if this were a Texas kid sold on Urban then I would think we’ve got a shot. In this case I believe we have a kid eager to play not only in his home state but his hometown. Even if Urban is canned you can’t replace his on field success but I’m certain they bring in a big name to calm the storms.

Tufono just got CB'd to USC by Steve Wiltfong.
One of national analysts from 24/7, Wiltfong, has put in a USC crystal ball for LB Maninoa Tufono.
Holland from 24/7 had an update late last night that basically says Washington is no longer a factor in Tufono's recruitment, and both the USC and Texas staffs feel confident.
Tufono hasn't informed either staff of his decision yet.
We may just pull this off. Kudos to Jake Langi and his ties to the Polynesian community if we do. Sure would like to start that kind of pipeline. Also liking the emphasis of westward CA/AZ recruiting in addition to Hawaii.
