Russian efforts clearly designed to help Trump. Putin admitted as much, as this is fully corroborated by US intelligence.
Multiple accounts of "back channels" being discussed.
Strategy meetings, and meetings about meetings.
Trump calling directly in a presser for help from hackers.
All of which suggests an ongoing effort.
What could be done?
Russian disinformation campaigns would find a great deal of value in voter information, especially the kind that might be had in GOP databases. The link here would be Cambridge Analytica.
