Not sure about done? He had a great season in Utah the year before last. Sure he would've been great for Houston and maybe even had been wearing a ring had he gotten some burn last year. But D'Antoni didn't even play him and went with a 7 man rotation wearing everyone out. Hence why they lost to GS

Joe Johnson sucks. Big NO. Now if Rodney Hood is available and would sign a one year deal for what the Spurs have to offer it would be a great chance for him to repair damage to his reputation .
Rodney Hood is a restricted free agent so there is no getting him for cheap bc Cavs will match. Since no one is willing to offer him a big deal, he’s stuck getting a one year deal from Cavs and he’s got no bidders so Cavs will low ball him.
Johnson definitely isn't what the Spurs need. Regardless Ginobili returns or not.
The team needs some athleticism, size and quickness in the forwards rotation in order to play defense and rebound. A player with the ability to defend TOP forwards and wings would raise Spurs chances of beating their teams.

Depending on whether you think Gay will be the starting SF or third big, they either have 5 or 6 perimeter rotation spots spoken for. And if you think he'll be the latter, then that would mean 2 of Bertans (will make $7-7.5M), Poeltl (elite backup and part of major/controversial trade) and Cunningham (long time rotation player) wouldn't be in the rotation.
In other words, if they acquire a rotation 3 and D SF at some point, someone(s) is more than likely getting moved to accommodate them.
As opposed to aging band aids, I'd rather a variation of a trade I suggested a few weeks ago: Gasol and Cunningham (eligible December 15th) for Harkless, Leonard and a protected 1st.

fwiw... I don't understand how any of Manafort's "crimes" had anything to do with the actual 2016 Election results. How many votes were changed or falsified? Mueller's team has established a connection to Russia (through business dealings - whether legitimate or not) but no evidence to suggest tampering with any voting machines or ballots etc...
