You're ranting and raving and buttposting about an offhanded remark. You have the market cornered on "weird"![]()
Self reflection...
You are sad.
And angry.
You're ranting and raving and buttposting about an offhanded remark. You have the market cornered on "weird"![]()
You could win the award for most incoherent poster, tbh.
Coming from you that means so much.
Im devastated.
You could've just explained yourself.
these fools are all the same... "we worry for you" / "insert insult here"... same ol same ol with nothing new to offer up. they're lemmings just waiting for the best cliff to present itself to them.
Never seen this before from you. Very creative...
Since you are so good at not following a group to inaccuracies, tell the board some of your favorite reads for information?
Could've I, mom?![]()
Programming, electrical engineering, and mind expansion texts. That's what i usually read about. You?
that's what I call a toothless threat. you won't do it and I don't care.
Chris a not so much a thinker as a stormtrooper of ideas. He takes marching orders from alt-right social media trolls, reposts them verbatim and pretends other people are derivative and fake.
His pearl clutching over trolls is adorable. It connotes a truly comic lack of self-awareness.
Oh no. There goes his seat. Poor fellow.
You know that’s cool but reading books to make your mind flexible and logical will not help you discuss the facts and situations to correctly evaluate a specific topic. There you are all ready to go about the interference of Russia in our elections without having read a word about the topic your flexible, agile mind is ready to handle. That’s really just cheating yourself.
But since you asked.
For general intersts. Physics, evolutionary biology, history
For news (my flexible mind can handle the info and evaluate the veracity of what I am reading we hope)
Ny times Left leaning
Wa Po. left leaning
The Economist. Center to right imo, but it’s british
Al Jazerra Depends wha They write about
WSJ. Right leaning
Politico. Left leaning but I have been challenged on this (and it’s trendy and more immediate)
Foreign Affairs. Won’t like this unless you want a look back
Der Speigel. The international paper also less immediate a look back
Currently
Just finished a book on the history of Christianity “Turning Points” Now I’m inclined to go back and find Biblical archeology stuff. And I had no idea there was such thoughtful discussion throughout the ages about the Trinity and how it’s still very much discussed.

And if you want to start a separate thread on electrical engineering I’m here. I am inclined to discuss models and ideas and the lighter math. Baseline Bum can provide the heavier math if needed so I have been informed. I absolutely love what Michael Fabraday did. “ Faraday Maxwell and the electromagnetic field “ great book and not math heavy.
And I love programming as a logic exercise. But I have stopped and I began with the easiest but much more bersome language. I still was able to satisfy my curiosity and it had to be one of the best exercises I have ever done.
Btw wrote a program that presented a mathematical truth to me personally but I have no idea how to solve it mathematically. So you wanna talk what kind of tasks you have tried to complete thru programming I’m here for that as well.
Also you mentioned you were a tattoo artist and put yourself up for display. This was noble imo. The jobs people take on and suit them is not to be ridiculed imo unless they ask for it. So I wish you well. In whatever endeavor you find. People usually gasp and freak when I explain my job like they could never handle it, but they absolutely could if trained. I got lucky I found something I love to do.
Yes.
Spent too much time with one poster. Just because a question was answered.
you're def much more educated than myself in all subjects talked about and i have no problem saying so. very interesting to say the least. your replies have been a breath of fresh air around here and were able to brighten up my sunday a bit more. hope your sunday is going good pg.
I don’t think I am the only one on here that realizes different people like different things and are good at different lines of work. That this somehow makes them more prestigious (or less) in a society is troubling. And just because I have been educated does not make me smart or smarter than you (and you realize this) There are PHDs that are 1 trick ponies just as there are extremely bright people who work with their hands and are mul alented.
Having said all this, we are all going to have backgrounds (even horrible experiences) that influence our political takes. Empathy (not sympathy) in understanding the anger associated in today’s political climate is particularly valuable in cohesion of a democratic society. Imo, you and I must look at ourselves and ask how did we end up with our current beliefs before we can hope to understand others. And our are beliefs even sober?, or are they just fueled by emotion... Since I can’t witness everything, I must rely on reading. Others accounts. Therefore I look to those accounts for sober assessments. If these sources are not self critical in their assessments at some time... I’m less likely to use them.
I read this, and it’s so sappy, but I believe it.
Well, someone on a national call in show did threaten to shoot CNN reporters. So you can celebrate, I guess.
wtf is a mind expansion text
Jim Acosta's thrill-up-his-leg moment
He was just as "tough" on Obama, he says.
lol Hannity
Standard crutch posting from chump.
