What makes the school public? Public school is trash socialism btw. All school should be private. They do a better job in parts of Africa! If Lebron’s school is really private non-profit, as I am sure it is, he must simply use a lottery system to ration attendance.
Interestingly, this can be a very charitable thing to do; but, there’s a great argument for making it far more exclusive. I imagine the school will be decked out with resources. Why not open a very un-PC school for Northern Ohio’s most gifted? Not all of those kids will be wealthy, although few will be black (LB’s primary tribal motive).
Money doesn’t make average or poor students more intelligent. A good home and a good education with habits can maximize what a kid is capable of though. For example, DC public schools spend something like 23k a child, the most in the country. Nowheresville, West Texas spends about 8 or 9, and those kids significantly outperform the DC kids.
