Shocked. Some of the biggest cities in the country have the highest homeless population, who would have thunk it
4 of those cities have larger homeless populations than Houston, San Antonio and Dallas. Those four cities aren't too 10 cities. All of those Texas cities are. There's some credence to that and throw in California's overall homeless explosion while det surplus and economy are surging and it's a little more real than how easily dismissive you are of it.

Kasich: Ohio candidate didn’t invite Trump to rally

Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) said Sunday that an Ohio House candidate did not invite President Trump to appear at his campaign rally on Saturday.

The governor and former GOP presidential candidate, who has been critical of Trump, told George Stephanopoulos on ABC's "This Week" that GOP hopeful

Troy Balderson told him that he didn't have anything to do with inviting Trump.

“I asked him the other day ‘Why are you bringing Trump in,’

    he said

‘well, I don't have anything to do with it,’ ” Kasich said, referring to Balderson,

Last I looked, I'm spouting politics on the political forum of a board - not at work (that would be career suicide).
Employers now look, hire and fire people for their online interactions too, so YMMV on that. That said, with civility, there's no reason politics can't be talked about in any environment.

The mainstream news media is conspiring to take down President Donald Trump, Bill O'Reilly told Newsmax TV during a new interview.

O'Reilly appeared on Monday's "The Joe Pags Show" and said the media is out to get the nation's top executive.

"This is a media coup attempt to remove Donald Trump, and they're working hand-in-hand with the Democratic Party," O'Reilly said. "They get talking points from the Democratic Party . . . there's a theme of the week. You can see it unfold. One week it's the women, the next week it's the border kids, this week starting [Monday] it's Don Jr. and the meting with the Russians.

"There's a theme, and all the anti-Trump networks and newspapers pick the theme up."

If the vote margin is ultimately within half a point, an automatic recount would be triggered.
might still be too close to call as of 12:38AM

Fox News correspondent resigns amid reports that network staff are sick of being a Trump propaganda channel

Fox News foreign correspondent Conor Powell stepped down this week after nine years reporting for the network.

“After nearly 9 years, I have decided to resign from Fox News,” Powell announced on his Facebook page. “Those of you who have spoken to me in recent months, you will understand why I am leaving FNC.”

a source within the network tells The Wrap that

he’s just one of many people on the news team who are frustrated with the network’s emphasis on supporting Trump-loving opinion hosts

such as Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, and Laura Ingraham over more hard news reporting.

“Lots of reporters are very unhappy with directions of FNC right now,” the source explains.

“Fewer news shows. More opinion shows. Less resources for reporters to report.”

Fox News military analyst Ralph Peters earlier this year similarly stepped down from Fox News, while specifically

calling it out for being a “propaganda” operation for President Donald Trump.

    “Today, I feel that

Fox News is assaulting our cons utional order and the rule of law,

while fostering corrosive and unjustified paranoia among viewers,” Peters said

Donald Trump’s base starts to erode as he digs himself deeper and deeper into trouble

    Trump is obviously very agitated.

    That tweet and dozens more,

along with his increasingly unhinged rally appearances over the past few weeks,

show a man under pressure who is not handling it well.

That chaos is starting to catch up with him in a way he doesn’t seem to expect or understand.

There is evidence that his numerous crises are finally starting to take that toll. According to a new poll by Priorities USA, Garin-Hart-Yang Research Group and Global Strategy Group,

three recent “crises” have stuck, sharply driving down voters’ opinions

of his temperament and truthfulness to their lowest ratings in the 11 tracking polls they’ve done of the Trump presidency:

Donald Trump’s dealings with Vladimir Putin,

his handling of immigration and the separation of children from their families, and

the impact of his trade war

have stuck with voters in a way nothing else has since the beginning of his presidency.

It would seem that the Trump team’s “nothing matters” rationale may not be playing as well as they thought.

Large shares of these weak Trump voters express an unfavorable reaction to

Trump’s temperament and leadership style (53%),

his dealings with Russia and Vladimir Putin (48%), and

his truthfulness in the things that he says (47%).

By 35% to 27% they express more doubts than confidence about

whether Trump has the integrity and honesty a president should have

(34% say they feel somewhere in between).

These impressions of Trump’s competence, integrity and truthfulness seem to be directly related to these three recent crises and

they are affecting people’s at udes about other issues.

By a 56 percent to 31 percent margin, voters don’t like what they’ve heard about the trade war.

That is spilling over into impressions of Trump’s allegedly brilliant economic stewardship.

Only 35 percent said Trump’s economic policies are good for them,

with the same number approving of the tax bill.

Only 22 percent say that things are changing for the better economically.

By 51% to 37%, voters say they would rather see more Democrats elected to Congress to be a check and balance on Trump

than more Republicans elected to Congress to help Trump pass his policies and programs.

    Notably,

voters who backed Trump in 2016 are far less eager to elect Republicans to help Trump (75%)

than Clinton voters are to elect Democrats to be a check on Trump (94%).

This reflects the fact that Clinton voters are far more likely to strongly disapprove of Trump’s performance (83%) than Trump voters are to voice strong approval (63%).
