Tell you what, why don't you ask the parents of the child who was murdered what emotion they feel when people threaten their lives.

Jones does not care about the truth, and again, all right have limits. In this case though, this is a matter of a private company deciding what to do with its product.

Whose rights are more important to you? The private company, or the private citizen.

    Pick.

That guy was allowed to say outrageous for years. The Sandy Hook is more offensive than anything he could say about trannies, IMO. But, we live in strange times.

What are the limits on free speech and how did Alex Jones violate those limits? Can someone answer since RandomGuy is too chicken to explain his own words?

Free Speech is limited on non-government-owned channels with terms and conditions that you must agree to prior to communicating on those channels.

Alex Jones violated this limit by saying things that are against their terms and conditions despite agreeing to them.

The limits on speech for those platforms are whatever the owners of those platforms want them to be. They are clearly listed in each platform's terms of service.

Alex Jones violated the hate speech, bullying and violence terms of service he agreed to.

Pretty simple stuff. I can see how you would struggle with it.

So the limits on free speech are corporations and their terms of service. See how easy that was? No reason to shuck and jive.

Alex Jones has been successfully sued a number of times, most recently and notably, by the Chabani yogurt company, for libel.

Libel being a common limit on what is acceptable.

Jones has also been successfully sued by the owner of Ping Pong pizza for similar things, and is currently being sued by a group representing the parents of children murdered at Sandy Hook elementary.

A recent analysis I heard the other day on NPR noted that media companies and social media platforms will eventually be held accountable for speech on their platforms, as the plausible deniability that many have used to shield themselves is wearing a bit thin.

Slander, and encouraging violence are other forms of limits on free speech, within in the US.

I hope that clears it up for you.

No. Limits on free speech generally are something set by governments.

Corporations, like bakers, can generally limit the use of their products, which in this case are transmission platforms for information.

He really wants this to be about him or someone on the right being a victim somehow, so he is trying desperately to shoehorn victimhood into the equation.
