would't be much of a farewell tour that way
Why can’t we just play Manu in home games? Spare his forty year plus body the road. I know he likes hanging with the brothas, but it seems to make sense in the long run.

Where does Manu go to get the PED?
Manu has fans all over the country that would not like this idea.![]()
Manu doesn’t need ‘roids
Let’s give Manu the ski slope schedule
there would be no long run if Spurs can't get into the playoffs.
tbh
I like the idea, tbh.
Manu should be a starter the whole season imho
Spurs got bigger problems if they need 41 year old Manu playing every game to make the playoffs
Wouldn't have made it last year without him
Spurs got bigger problems if they need 41 year old Manu playing every game to make the playoffs
spurs are in transition and are a borderline treadmill team..they'll need manu's production while lonnie gets reps in the G league
Id give Manu the Babe Ruth treatment and bury him under the Alamo
Better this than retirement
I don’t even think you can do this in basketball. Screws the rotation and chemistry.
38ish-year-old Christian Laetnner went back to the Duke campus and did a scrimmage or two with the college players and was apparently ripping it up. Someone told him he was still NBA level. He said, yea I'm still at NBA level for a game or two; it's doing it for 82 games that is the problem at my age.
I think people don't realize that Manu is NBA quality but for x# of games. He might be a 48-55 game player, especially if you want him fresh for the playoffs. And even in the playoffs, he might still do well to sit out a game or two.
