So give me one good reason why we need to go away from who James Bond actually is to something he isn't, well?

There's nothing so important about Bond's race that he must always be white, just like there was nothing so important about M's gender that the character had to be male.
So blacks would be cool with making Shaft, John Henry, Jackie Brown, Apollo Creed white? A Chinese Zorro? How about Thor, Hercules, Achilles Mexican?

You don't appear to understand that fictious or not all literary characters have a history. Bonds dad was named Andrew and his mom was Monique, they were white. I hate to break it to ya like this but you just can't ignore what any myth, cartoon, literary character, comic book hero. fable, is about. Sure, that can easily be part of the reboot. His parents died when he was 11 in the books so it's not like there's some crucial heritage there. Besides, they've already made Bond movies that have no elements of a Fleming story in them at all. That happened 20 years ago.
