In a motion filed in federal court on Thursday, CNN and several other media outlets requested that the court release the names and home addresses of all jurors in the Paul Manafort fraud case. Jurors haven not yet rendered a verdict on any of the 18 charges against Manafort, who briefly served as President Donald Trump’s campaign manager in 2016.

Well, as someone else said the last time I made this point (probably hater); it's not as much that they're liberal as it is they're corporatist. Typically, their horses are on the Democrat side of the ledger. Plus they certainly liberally biased on certain issues. Calling them the liberal media just saves time though.

I don't see how that implies the media is liberal? We discussed this already, for the media to be liberal, you would think there would be diminished non-liberal voices, but that's not the case at all.

Also, for being 'the enemy of the people', they're doing pretty well, and it just so happens that it's an industry that lives off people's attention...

I get and agree that, generally speaking, the biggest media outlets do have certain biases, and certainly are not Cinderellas, but by lying yourself, you're validating the tactic, which is abhorrent no matter who does it.

Let me add, since the forum is acting up on my ability reply to posts... the media *is* entertainment. It's a entertainment business vying for your attention, much like every other entertainment business.

What's lame about is when they start producing their own news (ie: opinion pieces, etc). But it's not that difficult to separate the junk from the news, IMO.

I mean that in the truest sense of the word or as in a valuation. The media isn't going to be getting on the free houses for all front any time soon. But they are in the tank for Democrats and their corporate interests, which are overwhelmingly relatable to the modern day Democrat. We could call it the Democrat media if it makes you feel better; but even then, it would be excluding many repubs who are in their tank.
