Like he might retire
Losing Kawhi, Tony, Manu, and Danny all in the same offseason would be eating the proverbial sandwich, tbh.
If this is it, thanks for everything and enjoy your family and seeing the world. One of the greatest to ever play and a Spur for life.
Do your sources know anything Mo?
Maybe it's time he would know it if the body just can't handle another NBA season even if his mind can. I hope he comes back but pretty sure he is sick of losing to the Warriors at this point and busting his ass all season to have it end like that. Dude has 4 rings and an olympic gold medal, nothing to prove anymore.
If he comes back it's because he loves the game and Spurs culture and fans.
Well, the loss of Tony and Manu was inevitable. Losing Kawhi and Danny so unexpectedly is definitely going to sting for the next season or more.
It'll be sad just like with Tony, but this is a bridge the team needs to cross eventually. And they have three young, hungry guards that could be the next generation...
Haven't asked, but definitely will ask.
If this is it, what an amazing last home game he had....

I think he'll be back ultimately personally, but we'll see.
So glad he and Pop can meet like men and discuss stuff, unlike... Nm
One more, Manu. Last season was frustrating but the Spurs need you to bridge the gap to the new era. Please.
Either way, thank you for everything.
What’s going on with the SAEN? First they reported that the spurs were going to offer the supermax to Kawhi. Then they say that Manu is coming back for his 17th season and now Manu is considering retirement.
He’ll be back for UNO MAS!
Oh and shout out to the Express-News for being a rather impressive dumpster fire. It's not easy being wrong so often while simultaneously telling the fans nothing of substance.
After what happened last year, I wouldn't blame him. Only the love of the game would make him keep going because the guy has nothing left to prove. Go and enjoy your time with your family Manu.
I'm good with Manu retiring especially since he had such a great send off at the AT&T Center with his big Game 4 to beat Golden State. I'd love to have him back but in his shoes I think I'd just enjoy being able to be with my family year round and hang them up. With the money he has earned that $2.5 million he is under contract for might not be worth it to try to grind out another season at age 41, especially when the team doesn't even have a puncher's chance at a le.
I'm quite sure that, like Tim, that money is coming to him anyway if he tells Pop he's hanging up his kicks.
