Will be starting the book tonight. I rarely jump ahead of my reading plans, yep...an exception.

I own a lot of old blues recorded in prison, mostly Parchman Farm in Mississippi and Angola Prison in Louisiana. Some right there on the road and chain gang chants, it gets no more real than that.

So many songs about doing time, jails and prison, I need a good read about that experience.
