Spiro Agnew’s lawyer says Trump should quit before Mueller comes for Jared and Ivanka

told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that Trump should make the same decision for the good of the country — or at least for the good of his family.

“It’s only going to get worse,” London said.

“We already have everybody, you know — the rats are leaving the ship.

He’s lost (Rick) Gates, (George) Papadopoulos, (Michael) Cohen, (Michael) Flynn, now (David) Pecker.

He’ll probably lose others from the Trump Organization.”

“We don’t know a quarter of what’s in the pocket of the prosecutor,” London said.

London has urged Trump to negotiate an end to the Mueller investigation by agreeing to resign as president — and he said that may be the only way to keep his family from being prosecuted.

“If he has any interest at all in not only saving his skin,

but the skin of his child, his children, his son-in-law, his grandchildren, his daughter —

this is a time when he’s got to seriously think about that,” London said.

“Now, is he capable of that, of serious thinking? Frankly, I doubt it.”

    “He’s going to be
advised by people like clown (Rudy) Giuliani and

people who don’t know that truth is truth,

then he’s not going to get anywhere,” he said.

How State Charges Against Trump’s Company Could Destroy His Family

New York state prosecutors in Manhattan are reportedly considering pushing for criminal charges against the Trump Organization and top company officials.

The charges would relate to the hush-money payments made by former longtime Trump lawyer Michael Cohen.

In Cohen’s guilty pleas this week he admitted he had made illegal payments on behalf of the president, and then submitted invoices to the Trump Organization for payment.

    According to charging do ents,

    several high-level executives in
the Trump Organization were aware of the illegal payments at the time they were made, and approved them.

    This means that

Trump’s company, as well as its senior executives, have been implicated in the same crimes to which Michael Cohen pleaded guilty.

Other than the Chief Financial Officer and the president himself,

the only high-level executives within the Trump Organization are
Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr..

the Manhattan District Attorney may be
eyeing criminal charges against the Trump Organization.

filing of criminal charges against the company and its top executives would be terrifying for Trump for several reasons.

For one thing, because the charges would be prosecuted at the state level, Trump could not issue pardons since presidents don’t have the ability to pardon state crimes.

because the Trump Organization is a family business, charges brought against the company “would mark the end of Trump’s long standing plans for his family business,”

“This is an organization that has 500 different en ies, businessman Donald Trump, before he was president,

really specialized in clever engineering, clever financial dealings, in order to fund these enterprises, shift profit around.

Now, for the first time, it’s all going to be opened up for examination.

This is why he didn’t release his tax returns.

He didn’t want people to actually have access to the numbers,

and we may now have access to the numbers.”

a criminal case against the Trump Organization would open up all financial records to prosecutors and eventually to the public through the trial process.

All of the president’s confidential financial do ents,
    including his tax returns,

would probably be disclosed to member of the jury as well as the general public.

    In D’Antonio’s opinion,

“This is really his nightmare. He’s operated as a private, family business for all these years to avoid scrutiny.”

Pretty much. It will be through his company that they will ultimately find the real . I have little doubt that there are some shredders being worked overtime, and that their trash is being intercepted.

    This opens the door.

Fox fallout shows why Trump’s lawyers don’t want Mueller to get an interview

THE BIG IDEA: Donald Trump’s own lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, distanced himself from his client’s suggestion that it “almost ought to be illegal” for “flippers” to get plea deals in exchange for their testimony.

many experts believe the president may have inadvertently confessed to breaking campaign finance law

with his latest account of how he reimbursed Michael Cohen for paying hush money so two of his alleged mistresses would stay silent before the 2016 election.

That’s just some of the fallout from a 12-minute interview that aired Thursday morning on “Fox and Friends.”

It was Trump’s most problematic sit-down since he told NBC’s Lester Holt last year that

the Russia investigation was indeed on his mind when he fired James Comey as FBI director

    — undercutting the official explanation from White House officials.

Nearly 15 Million Texas Voters Reportedly Exposed by Data Leak

got discovered by a data breach hunter overseas, according to TechCrunch.

Much of the leaked information is public record and

can be accessed by anyone willing to pay for it,

but the files also include a wealth of data considered confidential, such as

years’ worth of the residents’ voting history.

Records listing who residents vote for and

‘Owned by the Russian mob’: Trump biographer explains how the president’s first ‘fixer’ Roy Cohn set him up with the mafia

the author of a new book alleging the president was tied to Russia mobsters laundering money in his properties put that claim to the test

the connection between Trump and the Russian mob was forged by the president’s old lawyer, the late Roy Cohn.

“[Cohn] was also a lawyer for the Italian mafia, for the Gambino and Genovese families, and in the 80’s they began partnering with the Russians,”

With the fall of the Soviet Union,

Russians began making so much money that “they needed to launder it,” the writer continued.

    I
n 1984, David Bogatin, a Russian national with ties to the mob,

paid Trump $6 million in cash for five condos — the equivalent of about $15 million by modern standards.

“According to the state attorney general of New York,” Unger noted, “that was money laundering.”

After clarifying to Matthews how and why the capital began flowing from the former USSR to the United States,

the writer pointed out that “the best way to launder money is real estate.”

“There are almost no regulations in real estate,” Unger said,

“in terms of [how] you can buy it anonymously,

    through s companies,

    pay all-cash transactions —

bam, when you sell it, it’s laundered.”

“Obviously I don’t have subpoena power, but

I think you’re going to find that those records are going to be opened by the prosecutors now.”

    ===============

How did Cohn learn about the Russians?

    Counterespionage

As an Assistant US Attorney in Saypol's Manhattan office,

Cohn helped to secure convictions in a number of well-publicized trials of accused Soviet operatives.

Cohn also prosecuted 11 members of the American Communist Party
Politburo for preaching the violent overthrow of the United States government, under the Smith Act.
