tbh, I think it's pretty hilarious to see the demagoguery of racism coming out of the closet one more time. This is one of the many perils of insecure, populist leadership. It brings out de able positions from people stuck in the past, and tries to legitimize them, when the reality is that the world learned the painful lessons many decades ago, moved on, and it's not going back.
Poland is a very fine country that currently is experiencing much lower levels of xenophobia and antisemitism than in the late 90's, when the economy took a hit while the country was coming out of communism (and had nothing to do with immigration). Once it became part of the European Union, it has steadily increased it's levels of both political and ethnic tolerance. That's what the actual social studies on the country say that's been happening in the past couple of decades.
Even the Polish government has tackled racism head on (look up: Krajowy Program Przeciwdziałania Dyskryminacji Rasowej, Ksenofobii i Związanej z Nimi Nietolerancji). Much like the rest of the civilized world.
To be fair, FrostKing/Infinite Limit/Chicago-whatever-was-before-that, always has been a proud racist. Questions like "do you feel safe?" are the prototypical appeal to emotions question, integral to demagoguery. That's because if you appeal to rationality, you know all the whites are not going back to Europe, and all the blacks aren't packing their bags and going back to Africa, and LkrFan isn't going back to Mejico. It's a moot point, there's no racial wars coming, and there's no segregation making a comeback, etc. Why? Because even the vast majority of white people don't want to go back there. They know it was wrong then, and it's wrong now.
