True. Pop ed with his legacy by bringing him off the bench. He would of averaged 20+, 5, 5 and had more all star appereances had he been a starter.

The other obvious point is that Tony was a 6x all-star. Rarely do 3 teammates get chosen to represent the West at an all-star game. For most of the 2000s, it was Timmy, and then either Manu or TP would be selected (2005, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2013).

If either Manu or TP were playing the Carmelo role in NY, they'd be 10-time all-stars averaging 25+ PPG.
