Remember Poeltl's comments about DD having a huge chip on his shoulder. Some models having the Spurs miss the playoffs only adds fuel to the fire. This team might lack some cohesion and be an awkward fit skills-wise, but I don't think they will be hurting for motivation.And DM posted this yesterday. Honestly I dont like the Nike jerseys at all. Adidas was much better quality imo

I have a Ginobili, Duncan, Parker jersey never did get a Leonard one and certainly don't want one anymore. Might get an Aldridge and DeRozan one.
Seeing the posts of DeMar reporting early, laughing and having fun is reassuring. We got the better end of the deal. I can root for DeMar.
If Poeltl can be a younger Tiago? We good.
If Kawhi bolts to LA after this season and DeMar has a healthy strong NBA season for Spurs, yes. The trade will ultimately become a salary dump for Toronto and they knew that when they traded for Leonard. It don't matter either way Spurs had to clean up the milk the baby spilled in the kitchen and they got a pretty solid player in DeMar and potential with Poeltl.
